Bishop's Park, a riverside park beside the Thames with tree-lined walks, holds shade through the middle of the day and opens out to reflected river light later, which is the more flattering of the two for portraits. Fulham Palace, the former residence of the Bishops of London, supplies the historic backdrop nearby. Linden House Riverside and The Queen's Club take the celebrations themselves, and the difference between them dictates how much time to hold back for outdoor work. Hammersmith station serves the District, Piccadilly, Circle and Hammersmith and City lines and the A4 runs through the borough, so guests from Shepherd's Bush, Barons Court or Chiswick arrive quickly and the schedule can stay tight rather than padded.
