The short answer
Kaushik Bathia has photographed weddings across Greater London for over twenty five years, and couples in Edgware choose him for calm, natural coverage backed by more than a thousand weddings and five European Gold awards. From the first cup of morning tea to the last dance, we document the whole arc of your day, letting one moment lead naturally into the next. From intimate register office ceremonies to grand country house weddings, and from village churches to garden and marquee celebrations, we photograph every kind of wedding in and around Edgware. Having documented weddings across many cultures and styles, we arrive knowing the shape of a day and where its meaningful moments tend to gather. Engagement shoots, a second photographer for busier days and beautiful fine art albums are all part of what we offer, and we travel throughout Greater London and the rest of the UK for your wedding.
Serving Edgware
Edgware is a north London suburb. Whether your day is at a garden venue, a banqueting hall or a historic country house, we photograph across Burnt Oak, Stanmore and Mill Hill and throughout Greater London. We are comfortable in Edgware venues of every kind, and we plan quietly with your officiant or celebrant beforehand so nothing about the service surprises us.
Rather than lining people up, we let groups form on their own and photograph them as they laugh and talk, keeping the whole thing loose and relaxed. We keep direction to a minimum, offering just enough for you to feel at ease in front of the lens while the honesty of the moment stays intact. We shoot loosely and instinctively, following the energy of the room, so the collection you receive moves at the same pace the day actually did.
Edgware is a place we return to often for weddings. As a north London suburb, it offers plenty of character, and we photograph couples here as well as across nearby Stanmore and Pinner. Venues we have photographed at near Edgware include Zareen Banqueting, The Hive London and Sangam Banqueting.
Edgware is a north London suburb in the London Borough of Barnet with a strong Hindu and Jewish community. Edgware station is the northern terminus of the Edgware branch of the Northern line. When there is time for couple portraits, Canons Park, a Grade II registered historic park near Edgware is a favourite, and Edgware Underground station, a neo-Georgian 1924 building by Stanley Heaps makes a memorable setting.

What we offer
From a register office to a country house, we work with the space you have chosen and its own kind of light.
We photograph weddings across the country and are happy to travel wherever your celebration is taking place.
A relaxed shoot before the wedding lets us get to know each other and helps you feel at ease on the day.
Every kind of wedding
The moment you are declared married deserves to be seen clearly, so we plan our angles in advance and hold steady when it arrives. Church, courtyard, clifftop or town hall, wherever you choose to make your promises, we frame the reactions on both sides and the quiet glance you share halfway through. Whether you marry in a church, a register office or under a canopy in a country garden, we photograph the vows discreetly and with real respect for the setting.
A pre-wedding or engagement session beforehand lets us get to know you, so that by the wedding day the camera already feels like part of the furniture. A pre-wedding shoot around Edgware or a place that means something to you gives us relaxed images and a head start on the wedding day. The first dance is yours alone for a moment, and we photograph it from the edges, letting the room and its faces frame you naturally.

The whole celebration
Early coverage means we are already reading the light and the layout of the venue by the time your guests begin to gather. A first look, arranged just for the two of you away from everyone, gives us a few unhurried minutes together and usually settles the nerves for the rest of the day.
Balance is everything, and we make sure the tender pauses get as much space in your gallery as the toasts, the tears and the dancing. Pacing matters, so we keep our energy steady from the first preparations to the last dance and photograph the lulls as thoughtfully as the peaks.
Why choose us
When something goes awry, a late car or a missing buttonhole, we have seen it before and we quietly help sort it rather than adding to the stress. Experience teaches you to expect the unexpected; after so many weddings we have a quiet plan for rain, delays and last minute changes, and it rarely shows.
We travel widely for weddings and think nothing of a longer drive to reach venues in and around Burnt Oak, Stanmore and Mill Hill and the broader Greater London. Reaching venues across Burnt Oak, Stanmore and Mill Hill and the rest of Greater London is part of our routine, and we build travel time into the plan so we are always ready before you are.

Where we travel
From our studio it is an easy run out to Greater London, and we always allow generous time so we can settle in well before the first shot. Longer journeys and rural venues suit us well; we have photographed weddings in every corner of Greater London and are glad to travel.

Good to know
Awards are a reassurance rather than the whole story. Our five European Gold awards reflect years of consistent, careful work, but what matters most is that you love your own photographs. We are proud of the recognition; even so, your happiness with the finished images will always be the real measure for us.
We plan the family groups with you beforehand and agree a short, realistic list, so nobody stands around waiting. On the day we call names clearly and keep each set moving, usually finishing the formal shots within twenty to thirty minutes. That leaves you more time to enjoy your guests.
Look for a full gallery from real weddings rather than a few standout shots, a style that feels natural to you, and someone you warm to when you meet. Experience matters most on the day itself, when timings slip and the light changes. We have photographed more than a thousand weddings since 2001, so very little takes us by surprise.
For most weddings within a reasonable distance, travel is included and there is nothing extra to think about. For venues much further afield, or where an overnight stay is sensible, we may add a small contribution towards costs, which we will always agree with you beforehand. There are never any hidden fees.
We know plans can change, so if you need to move your date we will always do our best to accommodate you, subject to our availability on the new day. Please let us know as soon as you can, and we will look after you. We aim to be as flexible and understanding as we possibly can.
You receive a private online gallery of high-resolution images, which you can view, download and share with family and friends from any device. The gallery includes full-size files suitable for printing. We keep a backup for a set period after delivery, so nothing is lost if you misplace your copies.
We would love that. Meeting in person, or over a video call if that is easier, helps you get a feel for how we work and lets us hear all about your plans. There is no pressure at all; it is simply a friendly conversation so you can decide with real confidence.
