For Edgware
We arrive ahead of your first appointment, set one lighting position, and put everybody through it in turn. Interiors follow at the end, once the space is tidy and empty of people. Ten minutes a head is a fair estimate once lights are up.
Measurements for the setup are written down and kept, so somebody starting next spring is photographed into the same look instead of standing out. Files come in a web set and a print set, delivered through a single link.

Good to know
Generally, yes. We map out the running order beforehand so your whole range is lit and shot to the same standard in one visit. Only with very large catalogues might we recommend splitting it across sessions, and even then we keep costs and disruption to a minimum. Getting to Edgware is straightforward for us: Edgware station is the northern terminus of the Edgware branch of the Northern line.
Absolutely. If your Edgware brand needs content on a regular basis, we design shoots that create a lasting library of product and lifestyle photography. From that stock you can feed your website, social feeds and campaigns for months without arranging a new session each time.
Very quickly. Most galleries land within a few days, delivered online in both web and print sizes so you can start using them straight away. If your deadline is tight, tell us early and we will often prioritise the edit to fit. Edgware and neighbouring Canons Park, Queensbury and Hale are all covered.
The room sits at The Broadway, 21 Joel St, Northwood HA6. For commercial work in Edgware the journey rarely matters, because premises, interiors and staff are all photographed where they are. The room is worth using when one or two people need a plain background, or when small products need controlled light and a white sweep away from a working site.
Yes. We need one room set aside for the duration, a socket, and about three metres of depth to work in. Early is better than mid morning, before the first arrivals and while the space is still tidy. Tell us about lift access and where a car can be unloaded. Give us headcount and we will confirm the time required.

Commercial work in Edgware splits along a line that is easy to miss: premises people walk into, and premises people only ever see a picture of. A terminus is the end of a line, so ground around Edgware station is somewhere people arrive at and leave from rather than pass through, and street level is judged at walking pace by somebody who has already stopped. That changes the job. A shopfront taken from across the road shows nothing a person standing outside cannot already see. The frame that earns its place is taken from where a customer would stand, at their eye height, with the inside visible past the glass and lit brightly enough to read as open. Interiors hold most of the difficulty. Suburban premises are typically lit from above in one colour and from the front in another, and a camera has to be told which of the two to believe. Switching the ceiling off and lighting the room deliberately beats balancing both. Depth is the other recurring problem: a narrow room shot square from the doorway compresses into a corridor, so the diagonal is the better line, with something in the near corner to start the eye. Photographing a team is different again. The eye compares a row of faces before it reads any single one, and what it catches first is not quality but difference, a warmer wall behind one person, a head sitting lower in its frame than the rest. Those differences cost nothing to prevent and a great deal to correct, which is why one visit covering everybody beats three visits covering thirds.
