A milestone
A birthday, a recovery, a new chapter, or simply time for yourself.
Boudoir portraits in a private studio in Northwood, planned with you in advance and photographed at your pace.
The short answer
Yes. Boudoir sessions take place in the private studio at The Broadway, 21 Joel St, Northwood HA6 1NU, so if you live in Northwood you can be there in minutes, on foot or one stop on the Metropolitan line to Northwood Hills. Before anything is booked we talk through the mood you want and what you are comfortable with, and the session itself is guided gently from start to finish. Every session is photographed by Kaushik Bathia, FBIPP and FMPA. Enquire in confidence by phone, WhatsApp or the form on this page.
We were a little nervous as it was our first photo shoot but Kaushik was very friendly and quickly had our nerves calmed with his charming personality. A great all round experience and we have some fab professional photos that we are very happy with. Highly recommended, 5 Stars :)
Kaushik was a great help and took some great photos for my partner and I. I would highly recommend for all your photography needs.
Really pleased with my photos. Kaushik is very professional and took lots of picture for us to choose from. Our shoot was comfortable and not too long. I would highly recommend him.
Before the day
Many people who book boudoir have never done anything like it. So the first step is simply a chat, by phone or WhatsApp, about why you want the pictures, the feel you have in mind and anything you would rather avoid. Nothing is decided until you are happy with the plan.
Bring a few outfits and we will help you choose between them on the day. Lingerie, a favourite shirt, a robe or something you feel good in all work; what matters is that you feel like yourself in it. If you are unsure, send a message beforehand and we will talk it through.
On the day
The session runs in a closed, private studio with no other clients present. Light is shaped to flatter, and direction is clear and kind, so you always know where to put your hands and how to turn. We pause whenever you want to.
Afterwards you view your gallery privately and choose in your own time.
Getting here
The studio is part of the Joel Street shopping parade beside Northwood Hills station, so arriving is unremarkable: a short walk, one stop south from Northwood station on the Metropolitan line, or a drive with parking close by. Bus routes 282, 331 and H11 serve Northwood and Northwood Hills too.
Boudoir is a studio-only session. We do not photograph it on location.
