Serving Edinburgh

Capturing Asian weddings in Edinburgh

Edinburgh is Scotland's historic capital, with elegant venues. We photograph Asian weddings throughout Leith, Morningside and Portobello, telling the full story of the day across every venue, from the family home to the gurdwara, temple, mosque or banqueting hall.

From the mehndi and sangeet to the ceremony and reception, we document the whole celebration with a calm, unobtrusive eye. We are based in Northwood Hills in NW London and travel across Scotland and the wider region for Asian weddings. Multi-day celebrations are our speciality and distance is never a problem.

Every tradition

At home with every Asian wedding tradition

No two families keep their traditions in quite the same way, and we photograph yours as you keep them. Whether your day is built around a Hindu mandap, a Sikh gurdwara, a Muslim nikah or a South Indian ceremony, we follow the ritual closely and respectfully.

We are used to the energy of the baraat, the tenderness of the vidaai and the music of the sangeet, and we cover them all without ever getting in the way. It is something we have done for couples across Scotland for many years.

The whole celebration

From mehndi to reception in Edinburgh

From the first dab of haldi to the final dance, your wedding is a story told over days, and we photograph it that way. The henna of the mehndi, the music of the sangeet and the anticipation of the morning all earn their place.

Then the baraat arrives, the ceremony unfolds and the reception carries the celebration into the night. We cover as much or as little as you need in Edinburgh, with extra photographers on hand for the biggest gatherings.

Absolutely. We regularly cover mehndi, sangeet, ceremony and reception across several days in Edinburgh, with additional photographers for the largest celebrations.

It depends on the size of your celebration. Many weddings are covered beautifully by one photographer, but for large multi-event days in Edinburgh we bring a second so the baraat outside and the preparations inside are both captured.

You will receive a small preview soon after the wedding, with your full edited gallery and album to follow. Asian weddings produce thousands of frames, so careful editing takes a little time and is well worth the wait.
