Church christenings
The service, the font and the family, photographed with care.

Christenings, naming days and first communions across Harrow, covered on location from the Northwood studio about three miles away.
The short answer
Kaushik Bathia covers christenings across Harrow from his studio at The Broadway, 21 Joel St, Northwood HA6 1NU, about 3 miles away. We come to your church, your home and the venue for the celebration, anywhere in Harrow, Wealdstone, Kenton, North Harrow or Harrow on the Hill. The ceremony is photographed unobtrusively, under the church's own rules, and the groups and the gathering follow. A christening portrait at the studio, one train ride from Harrow-on-the-Hill, is the quieter option. Book by phone, WhatsApp or the form below.
Could not be happier with Kaushik's service. He was professional and accommodating and nothing was too much to ask for! In fact, he went above and beyond for my husband's 60th and the final album was just fabulous! Would I use him again? Oh absolutely!!!
Fantastic pictures from Kaushik, took my daughter's beautiful photos at 6th months in 2005 and back now for graduation photography. Amazing work.
We have been getting our pictures clicked with Mr. Bhatia for many years now, he is very reliable, excellent at his job and he is great with kids as well! I'd really recommend his services.
At church
St Mary's on the top of Harrow Hill, consecrated in 1094 and listed Grade I, is the hilltop parish church, and its churchyard looks out towards central London. Whether your service is there or at your own parish church, the clergy will have a view on photography during the baptism; ask them early, and we will follow their guidance.
We position ourselves to see the font and the faces without blocking anyone's view, and save the formal pictures for after the service.

The groups
Families travelling into Harrow for the day often want every combination photographed: each grandparent with the baby, the godparents, cousins who rarely meet. Send the list in advance and we will work through it briskly, outdoors if the weather allows.

The celebration
A christening often ends with lunch at home. For a larger gathering, Harrow School hires out venues across its 300 acres for private celebrations, with rooms for groups from five to several hundred. We photograph the speeches, the cake and the in-between moments wherever you gather.
Harrow
On location: your church, including St Mary's on Harrow Hill where photography is allowed; your home or garden; a hired room for the party; and, for a relaxed family portrait on a dry day, the grounds of Headstone Manor Park in North Harrow.
In the studio: a christening portrait in Northwood, about 3 miles away. The Metropolitan line runs from Harrow-on-the-Hill to Northwood Hills without a change, two minutes from the door, and there is parking close by.
