Couples with Harrow roots
An engagement shoot somewhere that already means something, such as the hill or a local park.

Engagement and couple portraits on location in Harrow, from the views on Harrow Hill to walled gardens, or in the studio a short trip away.
The short answer
We can photograph you on location in Harrow or in the Northwood studio, about 3 miles away. On location, the churchyard of St Mary's on top of Harrow Hill looks out towards central London, Canons Park has a walled memorial garden and ponds, and Headstone Manor Park in North Harrow has over 50 acres around a medieval moat. If you would rather be indoors, the Metropolitan line runs from Harrow-on-the-Hill to Northwood Hills, two minutes' walk from the studio door, without a change. Engagement shoots run one to two hours; book by phone, WhatsApp or the form below.
I had an amazing experience with Kaushik Bathia. They were professional, friendly, and made me feel completely comfortable during the shoot. The photos came out beautifully — natural, vibrant, and exactly what I hoped for. Highly recommend
Kaushik has been absolutely fantastic!! I called him to book for a photoshoot session for my parents anniversary, last minute with just one day in advance. he was super responsive and was able to accommodate. He was also understanding when they were running late. Even more impressive is that he put my parents at ease and was able to get great shots, its their first photoshoot and it turned out great!
I required some portrait shots to be taken. Mr Bhatia, did an amazing job, Very friendly and extremely professional and knowledgeable.I would highly recommend.
On Harrow Hill
The hilltop village is the obvious choice for a couple who want Harrow in the picture. From St Mary's churchyard the view runs to Canary Wharf, the BT Tower and Wembley Stadium, and Lord Byron's favourite spot by the Peachey Tomb is marked by a memorial carrying his poem about the elm there.
Evening light on the hill is flattering, so an engagement session there is best planned for the last couple of hours of daylight, working down from the top.

Gardens and parks
Canons Park is a Grade II registered historic park with ponds and the King George V Memorial Garden, a walled garden that was once part of the duke's kitchen gardens. Headstone Manor Park, restored in 2021, adds wetland, a perimeter path and the 14th-century moat around the manor.
Harrow Recreation Ground, a Green Flag park below the hill, is the simplest option if you are coming straight from the town centre.

Rather be indoors?
Some couples prefer the calm of a studio, especially for a first session or in winter. The Northwood studio gives clean backdrops and controlled light, and the journey from Harrow is a direct Metropolitan line ride or a short drive with parking close by.
Around Harrow
Harrow on the Hill and St Mary's churchyard, Canons Park, Headstone Manor Park, Harrow Recreation Ground, your own home or garden, or a venue you are already connected with. If you are marrying at The Pavilion on College Road, its courtyard is set up for photographs and a short engagement session nearby is easy to plan.
Coming to the studio instead? Take the Metropolitan line from Harrow-on-the-Hill to Northwood Hills with no change, then walk two minutes along the Joel Street parade, or drive the 3 or so miles and park close by.
