Families celebrating at home
The lamps, rangoli and puja photographed where they happen, without leaving the house.

We come to your Harrow home to photograph the festival as your family keeps it, or you can visit the Northwood studio, about 3 miles away.
The short answer
Two ways. We come to you anywhere in Harrow, Wealdstone, Kenton, North Harrow or Harrow on the Hill to photograph the celebration at home, or you travel to the studio at The Broadway, 21 Joel St, Northwood HA6 1NU, about 3 miles away and reached from Harrow-on-the-Hill on the Metropolitan line without a change. Either way it is a guided family portrait session in your festive clothes. Diwali 2026 is Sunday 8 November; call or WhatsApp 07956 505383 to ask about times.
Great service and fantastic photos taken of myself and family. We were given a very warm welcome by Kaushik and I feel that was also reflected in the photos he took. So very pleased with the photos and would highly recommend Kaushik.
We have known Kaushik Bathia for many years and he has photographed many weddings and events for the family. We also go to him for our family portraits and as the family grows, we keep returning to him not only because of his high quality work, but because of his great nature and light hearted approach that always makes the session so enjoyable. Highly recommended for all your photography needs!
We had a large family photoshoot to do which can always be tricky. Kaushik was absolutely fantastic with a myriad of toys and noises to get smiles out of the little ones (they are still talking about the mouse on a stick!). Kaushik took the various different combinations we wanted and positioned each one expertly.
At home
For many Harrow families the festival happens at home, with relatives arriving through the evening, so that is where we come. The lamps lit along the windowsill, the rangoli at the door and the elders in their own chairs give the pictures a sense of place.
We start with the full group before the house gets busy, then photograph each household and the grandchildren with their grandparents. If the puja is to be photographed, tell us the time and we will plan around it rather than interrupt it.

The studio
For a formal portrait for the wall, or a greeting image taken before the day, the Northwood studio gives clean, even light. Trains from Harrow-on-the-Hill reach Northwood Hills without a change, and the studio is a short walk along Joel Street from the station.
Bring a few diyas, a thali or the family's sweets and they become part of the picture; battery tea lights in clay lamps give the glow without a flame.

Timing
Diwali 2026 falls on Sunday 8 November, and home visits on the evening itself are the first to be asked for. Studio sittings in October suit families who want an image ready for WhatsApp greetings or printed cards before the day.
From Harrow
Home sessions cover Harrow town, Wealdstone, Kenton, North Harrow and Harrow on the Hill. We come to you, and the session is timed around your evening rather than a studio diary.
If you prefer the studio, it is about 3 miles away in Northwood, with parking close by for anyone driving grandparents over. Both are booked the same way, by phone, WhatsApp or the form below.
