The short answer
At our studio at The Broadway, 21 Joel St, Northwood HA6 1NU, on the parade next to Northwood Hills station. Walk in without booking, tell us which document the photo is for, and we take it against a plain background, check the size and head position on screen and print it, usually within minutes. If you are not sure what the form asks for, bring it along and we will read the photo section with you.
Amazingly quick and effective service. Stayed open on a rainy Sunday just for our emergency photos for our passports. What a Kaushik!
KAUSHIK took photos of my infant daughter for her passport, he was professional, and very kind with her. The finished photo was perfect. I will be booking a family session shortly as I am confident the experience and photos will be great.
Great passport photographer, very patient and approachable. He was efficient and made sure I was happy with the shots before printing.
Any document
A paper application for a provisional or renewed licence needs printed photos of a set size; other cards, from bus and travel passes to firearm and shotgun certificate applications, have their own layouts. We take the photo to the document in front of us instead of handing everyone the same template.
Applying online instead? Some services ask you to upload a photo, and we can supply a digital file alongside the prints when that is what the form wants.
For local employers
Shops, surgeries, schools and offices around Northwood can send staff in one at a time for pass photos, or arrange for a group. Because the light and background stay the same, a badge photographed this month matches one taken next year.
Students needing a college or university card photo can call in on the way to the station, which is only a couple of minutes from the door.
Finding us
The studio is on the Joel Street parade, which was given new paving, lighting and a tree-lined boulevard in a 2014 upgrade of Northwood Hills town centre. From the Green Lane end of Northwood, it is one stop from Northwood station on the Metropolitan line, and buses 282, 331 and H11 run through both Northwood and Northwood Hills.
Drivers will find parking close by. Most people are in and out quickly, so it is easy to combine the photo with other errands on the parade.
