Serving Westminster

The story of your Westminster wedding

Westminster is the central London borough at the heart of the capital. Couples throughout Camden, Kensington and Chelsea trust us with their weddings, large and small. We photograph at churches, country houses and registry offices right across Greater London.

We are at ease with grand country-house weddings and intimate registry-office ceremonies alike. We follow your order of service closely and photograph the ceremony exactly as you have imagined it. We let the ceremony and the wedding breakfast unfold at their own pace and meet them with a quiet, watchful eye.

We travel throughout Greater London for church and civil weddings, and Westminster, the central London borough at the heart of the capital, is one we know well. We also photograph in nearby Southall and Wembley. In and around Westminster, we have photographed at venues such as One Great George Street, One Whitehall Place and Raffles London at The OWO.

The central London borough at the heart of the capital, home to national government and world-famous royal buildings. Served by Westminster Underground station on the Jubilee, District and Circle lines. For portraits away from the celebration, St James's Park, a royal park with a lake, pelicans and views to Buckingham Palace works beautifully, and The Palace of Westminster and Big Ben beside the River Thames adds a real sense of place.

Every tradition

Church, civil and country-house weddings

We capture the couple's first steps as husband and wife, or as newlyweds, straight after the vows. We capture the walk down the aisle, when all eyes turn, with a discreet, steady hand. We work quietly during the service, mindful that some churches restrict where a photographer may stand.

The preparations are often where the most natural photographs come from, and we give them full attention. We capture the guests and the family moments, not just the couple. The day often opens with bridal preparation, the dress, the details and the buttonholes, and we are there for it.

The whole celebration

From bridal prep to the evening party

Some couples like a first look before the ceremony; others prefer to wait for the aisle, and we plan for either. We arrive in good time for the bridal prep and stay until the celebrations wind down.

On the wedding day, the ceremony, the drinks reception and the wedding breakfast build to the first dance. From the first look to the last dance, we follow the whole day at its own pace.

Why choose us

Why couples in Westminster choose us

A thousand weddings in, we still find every ceremony and every wedding breakfast unique, and photograph it that way. Twenty-five years behind the lens means we know exactly what follows the register signing in the order of the day.

We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us to the country houses and churches of London and the surrounding area. We cover the whole of the UK for weddings, so the distance to a remote manor house or country church is never a barrier.

Good to know

English weddings in Westminster, FAQs

Yes. Our style is mainly documentary, capturing the day as it happens, but we will also gather a handful of timeless couple and family portraits, so your album holds both natural moments and classic ones.

Very much so. We are at home at manor houses, stately homes, barns and garden marquees across Greater London. We know how to make the most of grand rooms, rustic settings and beautiful grounds.

British weather is changeable, so we always have a relaxed wet-weather plan ready. We find sheltered spots and lovely light indoors, and a few dry minutes are usually all we need for beautiful couple portraits.

You will receive a small preview soon after the day, followed by your full edited gallery. We then design a hand-finished, fine-art album that holds the whole story of your wedding for years to come.

Always. We carry backup cameras, lenses and memory cards to every wedding, and back up your images on the day, so your photographs are safe from the moment they are taken.
