We travel throughout Bootle, Wavertree and Allerton for Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Gujarati and Tamil weddings, at home in temples, gurdwaras, mosques and banqueting suites alike. For Tamil and South Indian families, the muhurtham reaches its heart as the thali is tied, and we are in position for that single, defining second.

We arrive early, stay late and keep pace with every part of the celebration. We keep our kit discreet and our footsteps light, so the record of your day is made of real moments rather than everyone looking at a lens. Multi-day weddings ask for stamina and planning, so we map the running order with you beforehand and pace ourselves to be sharp from the haldi to the last song.

Liverpool Lime Street is the city's main terminus and the oldest mainline terminus still in operation, with the M62 approaching from the east. For pre-wedding and couple portraits, we love spots such as Sefton Park, a large Victorian public park in the south of the city, with The Royal Liver Building on the Pier Head waterfront close by for a striking backdrop.

The most sacred parts of the day are captured from a respectful distance with a quiet long lens. For Tamil and South Indian families, the muhurtham reaches its heart as the thali is tied, and we are in position for that single, defining second. Whatever your faith, the auspicious hour sets the tempo, and we plan our positions around the muhurat or muhurtham so the sacred minutes are never rushed for a picture.

At the milni the two families meet and embrace, garlands are exchanged and the elders greet one another, and we record the warmth of that first joining. The reception is the joyful finale, with speeches, the first dance and the bhangra. The mehndi evening is close and detailed, henna curling across the bride's hands while the room fills with song, and we photograph the artistry and the laughter alike.
