When there is time for couple portraits, Telford Town Park and the wooded slopes of the Ironbridge Gorge is a favourite, and The Iron Bridge at Ironbridge, the world's first major cast iron bridge, in the nearby Ironbridge Gorge makes a memorable setting.

A nikah turns on the giving of consent, the mehr and the signing of the contract, and we record each with the dignity the occasion carries. At a Gujarati mandap we know the hastamelap and the four mangal pheras, and we photograph them in the order your priest keeps rather than a generic script. The blessings of parents and elders draw many ceremonies to a close, hands resting on heads in benediction, and we hold those tender moments gently.

The mehndi night, the sangeet and the haldi each carry their own mood, and we photograph them all. The farewell, when the bride leaves her family, is the most tender moment of many Asian weddings. For Muslim families the walima is a generous celebration in its own right, and we cover it as fully as the nikah that precedes it.
