Families who want it quick
One focused sitting that leaves the rest of the day free for shopping or lunch.

Short festive family sessions at the Northwood studio, about three miles from Harrow and one train ride from Harrow-on-the-Hill.
The short answer
The nearest of ours is the studio at The Broadway, 21 Joel St, Northwood HA6 1NU, about 3 miles from Harrow town centre. Take the Metropolitan line from Harrow-on-the-Hill to Northwood Hills, with no change, and the studio is two minutes' walk from the station; by car it is a short run out of the borough with parking close by. A Christmas mini is a brief, guided family sitting that ends in a small edited set, ready for cards and gifts. Diwali, Eid and Easter minis follow the same pattern. Very good experience. Did a family shoot at Kaushik Bathia's studio yesterday. He was amazing at getting all of us to give natural smiles.
Kaushik is a fantastic photographer and has captured some superb family memories for us! Great service with high quality, professional images.
We had a fun one hour family portrait session recently.Kaushik was friendly and patient during the whole session,he made every effort to make us smile, giggle which came out in the photos. The photos are lovely and we placed an order for 3 big frames. Thank you !
The trip
A family outing in festive clothes goes better with a plan. Trains from Harrow-on-the-Hill reach Northwood Hills without a change, so nobody has to squeeze into a car in their best outfit, and the walk at the other end is a short one along Joel Street.
If you are driving from Harrow, Pinner or North Harrow, allow time for parking and a minute to tidy hair and straighten collars before you come in. We start once everyone has their coat off and the little ones have had a look around.

At home
Some celebrations belong where they happen. For Diwali, a session can be photographed in your own Harrow living room, with your diyas lit and the rangoli at the door, so the pictures show the festival as your family keeps it.
Eid often brings several households under one roof for a single day. A home visit can capture the large group and each family within it, while a studio sitting gives a cleaner, more formal portrait. Tell us which you have in mind.

Timing
Mini dates are released in the run-up to each festival and fill steadily, especially Saturdays and Sunday afternoons. For a Christmas card, aim for an autumn session so there is time to choose a frame, design the card and post it. For Easter, the school holidays usually suit families with children.
From Harrow
Harrow has a long link with studio portraits: in the 1860s the Hills and Saunders company photographed families from a studio on Harrow on the Hill. Today the nearest studio of ours is in Northwood, about 3 miles away, reached from Harrow-on-the-Hill station on the Metropolitan line without changing trains.
For celebrations at home we come to you anywhere in Harrow, Wealdstone, Kenton, North Harrow or Harrow on the Hill. Both options are booked the same way, by phone, WhatsApp or the form below.
