The short answer

Where can I book an Eid photoshoot in Northwood?

In Northwood: the studio is at The Broadway, 21 Joel St, HA6 1NU, beside Northwood Hills station, and we also come to homes anywhere in Northwood. An Eid sitting is a guided family portrait session: the whole group first, then each household, the children and the grandparents. Eid al-Fitr 2027 is expected around 10 March, depending on the moon sighting, and Eid al-Adha about ten weeks later, so sessions are planned around the likely days. Phone or WhatsApp 07956 505383 to talk it through.

Amazing experience with Kaushik photography. Pictures came out very high quality. The studio is also very nice and family friendly. The photographer there took his time to capture very memorable detail and that meant a lot to my family and I. I’ll definitely recommend Kaushik Bathia

Albert E., Google review, 2025

I was nervous about how my 2 year old would react, but we had a great photo session! Kaushik had plenty of props to keep my son entertained, laughing, and happily posing.Afterward, he was incredibly patient as we went through every single photo to pick our favorites, even though we kept changing our minds. I highly recommend his service and will definitely be back once my second baby is born!

Shahparak Z., Google review, 2026

Having had Mr Bathia to do our family studio photos with our first child, we again went for him second time round with our second child 5 years later. He is extremely good in getting our girls attention to capture lovely photos. He is a great photographer and would definitely recommend him.

On the day

An Eid session close to home

A local studio makes Eid easier to fit in. Families can come after Eid prayers or between visits, have the portraits taken and be home before the next round of guests arrives.

Posing is directed and follows your family's preferences on modesty and on who is photographed together. Tell us about those, and about anyone who will need a chair, when you book.

Before Eid

Greeting pictures taken during Ramadan

A picture for Eid Mubarak messages has to be taken before the day, which means a session during Ramadan. For anyone fasting, a morning slot at the studio is usually more comfortable, and the sitting is kept brisk so nobody tires.

Bring the outfits you will wear on Eid, or a set you love just as much, and tell us the date you need the images by so the edit is planned to meet it.

At home

Eid at your Northwood home

When relatives gather at your house, we come to you. The photographs then show the day itself: children in new clothes with their Eid gifts, the table set for guests, and the generations together in the rooms they know.

Around Northwood

The studio is on the parade the builder Harry Neal put up beside Northwood Hills station, with the Metroland mural on the station bridge close by. Northwood station is one stop away on the Metropolitan line, and the 282, 331 and H11 buses serve both Northwood and Northwood Hills.

There is parking close by for families arriving by car with grandparents. For home sessions, we come to you anywhere in Northwood and Northwood Hills.
