We keep the calm of the vows and the energy of the evening reception in equal measure. We arrive early for bridal preparation, stay late for the first dance, and keep pace with every part of the celebration. We plan for changeable British weather, with a relaxed wet-weather backup ready for the confetti and portraits if it is needed.

Served by Romford station on the Elizabeth line and London Overground, with the A12 and M25 skirting the borough. We often take couples to Bedfords Park at Havering-atte-Bower, home to a red deer herd for a few quiet portraits, and Bower House of 1729 in the hilltop village of Havering-atte-Bower is a lovely backdrop nearby.

We keep our distance during the vows and step in for the joyful moments that follow. The processional and the recessional bookend the ceremony, and we capture both in full. At the heart of the day are the vows, and we capture them close but never intrude on the moment.

We photograph the bridal preparations with a gentle, unobtrusive eye. The toasts, the speeches and the cake cutting each have their moment, and we photograph them all. The day often opens with bridal preparation, the dress, the details and the buttonholes, and we are there for it.
