A residential Hillingdon suburb in north-west London near the A40 and RAF Northolt. Served by South Ruislip station on the Central line and by Chiltern Railways to Marylebone. For portraits away from the celebration, Ruislip Woods National Nature Reserve, ancient woodland a short distance to the north works beautifully, and RAF Northolt, the historic Royal Air Force station situated close to the town adds a real sense of place.
