Serving South Ruislip
South Ruislip is a Hillingdon suburb in north-west London. Wherever your events are held across Ruislip Manor, Ickenham, we plan the timings and travel with care. Right across Greater London we photograph the colour and devotion of every event, large and small.
We capture the details too, the henna, the nikah-nama and the mehndi jewellery, that make your day yours. We make sure both families are in the story of the walima, not just the couple. We photograph the small moments of the mehndi as carefully as the vows of the nikah.
We know South Ruislip and the surrounding part of Greater London well, having photographed Muslim weddings throughout Ruislip Manor, Ickenham. South Ruislip is a Hillingdon suburb in north-west London, and we are often in nearby Southwark and Tower Hamlets too. Local Muslim wedding venues we know near South Ruislip include Venue 5 and McGovern Park.
A residential Hillingdon suburb in north-west London near the A40 and RAF Northolt. Served by South Ruislip station on the Central line and by Chiltern Railways to Marylebone. For pre-wedding and couple portraits, we love spots such as Ruislip Woods National Nature Reserve, ancient woodland a short distance to the north, with RAF Northolt, the historic Royal Air Force station situated close to the town close by for a striking backdrop.

What we offer
The imam or qazi's khutbah and blessing of the couple, photographed from a respectful distance.
The groom's joyful baraat arrival with his family, photographed with all of its energy.
A handful of timeless portraits after the nikah, taken quietly away from the banqueting hall.
Every tradition
From the ijab-e-qubool to the dua, the ceremony tells its own story, and we follow it closely. The rukhsati, when the bride leaves with the groom, is the most tender moment, and we photograph it gently. We photograph the blessings and the prayers of the imam with reverence.
The dholki brings evenings of singing and drumming before the wedding, and we photograph their energy. The henna of the mehndi is intricate and detailed, and we photograph both the design and the laughter around it. We capture the family moments around the bride and groom, not just the formal parts of the day.

The whole celebration
A multi-day Muslim wedding can run across three or four days, and we plan our coverage around all of them. The early events are full of warmth and laughter, and we photograph them with the same care as the nikah.
We always recommend a little time for couple portraits, often at golden hour, away from the bustle. We stay through the evening to capture the walima, from the grand entrance to the last dance.
Why choose us
Experience means we are ready for the nikah, the signing of the nikah-nama and the emotional rukhsati. Decades of weddings mean we read the masjid instinctively and never miss the moment the nikah-nama is signed.
We travel happily across Greater London and the surrounding counties for the baraat, the nikah and the walima. We are glad to discuss your masjid, your walima venue and the journey between them when you enquire.

Where we travel
We will travel to your nikah, your walima and your mehndi and dholki, wherever they are held. We factor in travel and prayer times carefully, so we are always in position for the signing of the nikah-nama.

Good to know
Yes, and it is one of our favourite parts of the celebration. We capture the henna, the music and the dancing in South Ruislip, and can bring a female photographer where the mehndi is a ladies' event, so nothing of its warmth is missed.
Yes. Alongside your edited digital gallery we design a hand-finished, fine-art album, so the whole story of your celebration, from the mehndi to the walima, is held in something beautiful to pass down the generations.
Most Muslim weddings run from the morning preparations through to the walima, so full-day coverage works best. For multi-day celebrations, taking in the mehndi and the dholki, we tailor the hours to your events and your budget.
Popular dates book up well ahead, so we recommend enquiring as early as you can, ideally once your date is set. Tell us your wedding date and venues in South Ruislip and we will confirm availability straight away.
Absolutely. The mangni, the mehndi and the dholki are often where the warmest, most natural moments happen, and we are glad to cover them as part of your wedding, with a female photographer for the ladies' events where you wish.
