Serving South Ruislip
South Ruislip is a Hillingdon suburb in north-west London. We are used to multi-venue days throughout Greater London, moving smoothly between Ruislip Manor, Ickenham. We cover the whole of London and the surrounding area, and South Ruislip and the towns around it are well known to us.
We capture the emotion honestly, from the laughter of the jaggo night to the tears of the doli. We read the rhythm of a Sikh celebration and are always in the right place for the milni, the laavan and the doli. We are calm and unhurried, gathering the whole story of the Anand Karaj without ever getting in the way.
We know South Ruislip, a Hillingdon suburb in north-west London, and the surrounding part of Greater London well, having photographed Sikh weddings throughout Ruislip Manor, Ickenham. We are often in nearby Southwark and Tower Hamlets too. Venues we know well in and near South Ruislip include Venue 5 and McGovern Park.
A residential Hillingdon suburb in north-west London near the A40 and RAF Northolt. Served by South Ruislip station on the Central line and by Chiltern Railways to Marylebone. When there is time for couple portraits, Ruislip Woods National Nature Reserve, ancient woodland a short distance to the north is a favourite, and RAF Northolt, the historic Royal Air Force station situated close to the town makes a memorable setting.

What we offer
From the milni and the kirtan to the four laavan before the Guru Granth Sahib, every part understood and captured.
We keep the calm of the darbar sahib and work quietly within gurdwara etiquette.
For large gurdwara days, a second shooter covers the milni and the bridal prep at once.
Every tradition
From the milni to the final ardaas, the Anand Karaj tells its own story, and we follow it closely. We photograph the choora and kaleere given to the bride, and the quiet blessings of her elders. We are ready for the palla, when the bride's father places the sash in the couple's hands before the laavan.
We capture the lively milni as the two families meet, with the garlands, the dhol and the embraces. The kaleere tied to the bride's choora carry their own meaning, and we photograph the ritual with care. The jaggo night is an evening of music, dancing and pots lit with candles, and we capture all of its energy.

The whole celebration
We tailor the hours to your events, whether it is one key day or a long weekend of celebrations. The turmeric of the maiyan and the henna of the mehndi are rich with colour, and we make the most of it.
The vegetarian langar follows the ceremony, and we photograph the whole sangat sharing the meal. We always recommend a little time for couple portraits, often after the ceremony, away from the bustle.
Why choose us
With twenty-five years and over a thousand weddings behind us, nothing about an Anand Karaj surprises us. Years inside gurdwaras have taught us exactly how to photograph the Anand Karaj respectfully and unseen.
We are London-based and travel across Greater London and the wider region for the Anand Karaj and every event around it. We are glad to discuss your gurdwara, your reception venue and the journey between them when you enquire.

Where we travel
Wherever your jaggo and your Anand Karaj take place across London and the surrounding area, we will be there in good time for the morning kirtan. Reaching your gurdwara is simply part of how we work, and distance is never a barrier to covering the milni.
