Serving Havering
Havering is an outer east London borough with country fringes. Tamil and South Indian families throughout Redbridge, Barking and Dagenham trust us with their celebrations, large and small. From Havering we cover weddings right across Greater London, at temples, kalyana mandapams and banqueting suites.
We anticipate each ritual, so the kashi yatra, the oonjal and the saptapadi are never missed. We blend candid storytelling with a handful of timeless portraits in your Kanjeevaram silk and temple jewellery. We capture the details too, the Kanjeevaram silk, the temple jewellery and the jasmine, that make your day yours.
We have photographed Tamil weddings throughout Redbridge, Barking and Dagenham for many years, and Havering, an outer east London borough with country fringes, is a familiar and welcome destination. We also cover nearby Hillingdon and Ickenham. Local Tamil wedding venues we know near Havering include The City Pavilion and Langtons House.
An outer east London borough with rural country fringes to the north and the long-established Romford street market at its heart. Served by Romford station on the Elizabeth line and London Overground, with the A12 and M25 skirting the borough. For relaxed couple photographs, we like Bedfords Park at Havering-atte-Bower, home to a red deer herd, and Bower House of 1729 in the hilltop village of Havering-atte-Bower gives the day a strong sense of Havering.

What we offer
Fine prints and framed art of the maalai maatral and the thali tying to bring home.
The groom's playful mock-pilgrimage that opens the ceremony, photographed with all of its humour and warmth.
From the maalai maatral and kanyadaanam to the thali tying and saptapadi, every ritual and its timing understood.
Every tradition
The thali, tied to the sound of the nadaswaram, is the sacred heart of the ceremony, and we capture it close. At the heart of a Tamil wedding is the maangalya dharanam, the tying of the thali that seals the marriage. From the kanyadaanam to the saptapadi, the ceremony tells its own story, and we follow it closely.
The reception portraits and the receiving line are covered to the very last guest. The sumangali prarthanai gathers the married women of the family in blessing, and we photograph it with care. From the henna of the mehndi to the songs of the oonjal, the events set the tone for the wedding.

The whole celebration
The pre-wedding events often span more than one day, each with its own mood. Tell us which events matter most and we will build the coverage around them.
We document the grand moments and the quiet ones in between, so nothing is lost. On the wedding day, the muhurtham, the mandapam rituals and the thali tying build to the reception.
Why choose us
We have built our reputation on reliability, warmth and a genuine love of the Tamil wedding day. Couples choose us for our calm presence and our knowledge of every ritual, from the kashi yatra to the saptapadi.
From London we reach Havering easily, and we know the kalyana mandapams of Greater London well. We are used to celebrations spread across a temple and a banqueting suite, and keep the day flowing between them.

Where we travel
We will travel to your temple, your kalyana mandapam and your reception, wherever the maalai maatral and the thali tying take place. We cover London and the surrounding area and beyond, and are glad to travel further afield for the muhurtham on request.

Good to know
Yes. We are comfortable photographing respectfully inside temples and kalyana mandapams, working quietly around the priests, the nadaswaram players and the homam fire, so the ceremony is captured beautifully and never disturbed.
Most Tamil weddings run from the early-morning muhurtham through to the reception, so full-day coverage works best. For multi-day celebrations with a nichayathartham and mehndi, we tailor the hours to the events that matter most to you.
From our London base, Havering and the rest of Greater London are an easy, familiar journey. You get a widely experienced Tamil wedding specialist who travels to you without fuss, and who is used to the early starts a muhurtham brings.
Yes. For larger Tamil weddings we bring a second photographer, so the mandapam rituals and the guests are both fully covered, and the ceremony and the arrivals can be photographed at the same time without anything being lost.
Auspicious Tamil dates in Havering book up well ahead, so we recommend enquiring as early as you can. Tell us your muhurtham date and we will confirm availability straight away, and hold it for you while you decide.
