New graduates
A formal portrait that marks the degree, in your own gown or a hired one.

Cap and gown portraits on Joel Street, close enough to fit around a hire gown, a ceremony and a family lunch.
The short answer
At the studio on The Broadway, 21 Joel St, Northwood HA6 1NU, in the parade beside Northwood Hills station. Bring your cap, gown and hood, and anyone you want in the picture; the session covers the classic formal portrait, a few relaxed frames and the family groups. Being in Northwood helps when a hired gown has to go back the same day: you can collect it, come in for the portrait and still make the return. The studio is open seven days, including Sunday afternoons, and sessions are booked by phone, WhatsApp or the form below.
Really professional. Kaushik captured some amazing pictures for my graduation with my family.
Kaushikbhai is an incredible photographer, fantastic 'after event' care and top bloke. I've only known Kaushik for 5 years - and in that short space of time, I can't even begin to count the number of events of ours that he's photographed.
I required some portrait shots to be taken. Mr Bhatia, did an amazing job, Very friendly and extremely professional and knowledgeable.I would highly recommend.
The sitting
We begin with you alone, square to the camera, gown settled and hood laid flat so the colours of your degree show properly. Then come softer frames, a smile, a scroll or certificate if you have one, and finally the family.
Small details make or break these pictures, so we check the mortarboard sits level and the gown falls evenly before every frame rather than fixing it afterwards.

Families
Parents, grandparents and siblings often travel in for graduation week, and a local studio means nobody has to cross London for the photo. Tell us how many are coming so we can plan the groups, from a pair to a full three-generation line-up.
If relatives are only free at the weekend, a Saturday or Sunday afternoon session keeps the day simple.

Around Northwood
Most graduation sittings are in the studio, where the light is even and the gown looks its best. If you would like an outdoor frame too, Northwood Recreation Ground on Chestnut Avenue and Hog's Back Open Space on Northwood Way are close by, and the Victorian brick houses of the old High Street make a handsome backdrop.
Hillingdon Council asks for permission through its Film Office before professional photographs are taken in its parks, so outdoor frames there need a little notice. From Northwood town centre the studio is one stop south on the Metropolitan line, or a short drive with parking close by.
