Serving Derby

Hindu wedding coverage in Derby

Derby is a city with a large South Asian community and many banqueting venues. Couples come to us from across the Midlands, and Normanton, Littleover and Allestree are firmly on our patch. Whether your mandap is in Derby itself or elsewhere across Derbyshire, we plan the day around your venues.

We follow your family's customs closely and photograph them exactly as you keep them. We move quietly through the day, capturing the real moments rather than staging them. We blend candid storytelling with a handful of timeless, beautifully lit portraits.

From the mandap to the reception, we keep the day flowing across Derbyshire, and Derby is firmly within our patch. We also photograph in nearby Nottingham and Northampton.

Every tradition

Honouring every Hindu custom

From the kanyadaan to the saptapadi, the ceremony tells its own story, and we follow it closely. For Gujarati families, we know the hastamelap and the four mangal pheras and photograph each as you keep it. We work quietly around the pandit so the ceremony at the mandap is never disturbed.

We capture the family moments around the bride and groom, not just the rituals. The vidaai, when the bride leaves her family home, is the most tender moment of the day. We photograph the milni, when the two families meet, with all of its warmth.

The whole celebration

A multi-day celebration in Derby

A Gujarati celebration might open with the mandvo and grah shanti, followed by the pithi. We can join you for a single event or follow the whole journey from the very first ritual.

From the baraat to the last guest, we follow the whole day at its own pace. We stay through the evening to capture the reception, from the grand entrance to the last dance.
