For Finchley
Sessions run at the animal's pace, with time to explore, plenty of treats and short bursts of shooting. Several pets are photographed individually and together, and owners can step in for a few frames or stay out of shot.
You then choose your favourite frames from an online gallery. Retouching keeps the coat's real texture and colour, and the images come ready for web and print. Prints, frames and canvases can be ordered, sized to suit the room they will hang in.

We had a family photo shoot, 11 people in toto. Great experience, lots of fun and laughter had during the session, resulting in some great pictures 😀
Had a lovely experience with the family photo shoot. Friendly man made us feel very comfortable and took some amazing shots
I booked the family portrait for my family and it was a wonderful experience. Kaushik is such a great photographer, able to coax a smile from any reluctant person. Making the decision of which pictures to chose is particularly difficult as they are all good.
What we offer
Outdoor pet sessions in Victoria Park or beside Dollis Brook on the Dollis Valley Greenwalk.
Local and experienced
Treats, toys and play keep each session light, so your pet has fun instead of putting up with it.
There is time at the start for your animal to sniff around and settle, so the session never feels rushed. Including the whole family with the pet is a lovely option, so two legs and four all share the frame.

Recent work
Outdoors, a Finchley pet shoot would be planned around a safe spot for the animal to explore, perhaps open grass or a quiet stretch of path. The Finchley places below are drawn from published sources. A Finchley park or your living room both involve a trip from Northwood, priced in writing before you commit. Travel from Northwood is set out in your written quote before you book.

Good to know
Because the session fits both the animal and the setting.
Yes. Pets are photographed together and separately, with the calmer animal settled first and the livelier one joining when everything is ready. Short bursts keep everyone interested, and patience does most of the work when two animals have different ideas about where to look.
Yes. Dark coats need soft, directional light so detail shows in the fur and the eyes catch a highlight.
Yes. You pick favourites from the online gallery, those come back as files for web and for print, and you may add prints, frames, canvases or albums. Advice on sizes and finishes is part of the process, so the finished piece suits the space where it will hang.
Dogs and cats, plus other household pets such as rabbits that can be photographed safely and calmly.
Serving Finchley
Pet owners from across Greater London book with us, Finchley's among them. It sits close to Barnet and North Finchley, which we cover too. Whether your animal is calmer indoors in Northwood or out on familiar ground in Finchley, the session goes where it suits them.
Finchley, a well-connected suburb in Barnet, has three town centres and a strong community life. For an outdoor pet session, Victoria Park covers about seven hectares between Finchley Central and North Finchley, and the Dollis Valley Greenwalk follows Dollis Brook along Finchley's western edge. Owners meeting us by Tube can use Finchley Central on the Northern line, High Barnet branch. For on-location sessions we can head to spots such as Victoria Park, close to the well-known Stephens House & Gardens (the former Avenue House) on East End Road.

Explore the rest: we also cover pet photography across Greater London, including Colindale, Queen's Park, Sudbury Hill, Northfields, Wembley Park and Eastcote.
For pet owners in Finchley, Victoria Park off Ballards Lane is a natural first choice for an outdoor session, with about seven hectares of parkland between Finchley Central and North Finchley. Open grass allows a dog to run towards the camera, which produces the energetic pictures owners tend to want, and a low camera angle makes even a small dog look heroic. The Dollis Valley Greenwalk, which follows Dollis Brook for about ten miles through Barnet, adds a waterside, woodland feel for owners who enjoy a walk with their animal. Follow any signs at the park entrances, and keep the animal under close control around other visitors. Several pets can be photographed together, with or without the family in frame, and sessions always move at the animal's pace. Favourite images can be ordered as prints, frames and canvases, so the picture you love most can go straight onto the wall.

How it works
We are based in Northwood, about 9 miles from Finchley, so a pet session there would normally be outdoors or at your home. Pet sessions are photographed on location, with lighting brought in as needed.
Pets are photographed by Kaushik Bathia in person, a Northwood photographer since 2001 who is FBIPP and FMPA and has five European Kodak Gold Awards to his name.
Popular sessions
Pets are welcome at a Christmas family photoshoot too, and the whole family can be photographed together in a family session.
