Serving Merton
Merton is a south-west London borough, home to Wimbledon. The gurdwaras and reception halls of London and the surrounding area are well known to us, from the ceremony to the last dance across Wandsworth, Sutton. Sikh weddings often begin early in the gurdwara, and we are always in good time for the milni.
We are a reassuring, familiar presence in the gurdwara, so the sangat relax and the day flows naturally. We anticipate each part of the Anand Karaj, so the milni, the four laavan and the ardaas are never missed. We photograph the small moments as carefully as the grand ones, the choora and kaleere as well as the four laavan.
Much of our work takes us across Greater London; Merton, a south-west London borough, home to Wimbledon, and the towns around it, including Wandsworth, Sutton, are very familiar to us. We also cover nearby Newham and North Harrow. In and around Merton, we have photographed at venues such as Cannizaro House, Morden Hall and Morden Park House.
A south-west London borough home to Wimbledon and its world-famous tennis championships. Served by Wimbledon station on South Western Railway, the District line and Tramlink, plus the Morden terminus of the Northern line. When there is time for couple portraits, Wimbledon Common is a favourite, and The All England Lawn Tennis Club at Wimbledon makes a memorable setting.

What we offer
Fine prints and framed art of the four laavan and the doli to bring home.
From the Akhand Path and maiyan to the doli, every day of the Sikh celebration covered.
The tying of the groom's turban and sehra before the milni, photographed with all its ceremony.
Every tradition
We know the order of the Anand Karaj by heart, from the kirtan to the ardaas and the four laavan. We keep our distance during the laavan and the prayers, and step in only for the joyful greetings. The hukamnama, the reading taken after the laavan, closes the ceremony, and we capture it with respect.
The dhol and bhangra of the jaggo are pure joy, and we capture every bit of the energy. We capture the lively milni as the two families meet, with the garlands, the dhol and the embraces. We capture the groom's arrival for the milni, surrounded by dancing family and the beat of the dhol.

The whole celebration
Some couples keep an elaborate sequence of events; others a simpler one, and we shape coverage to yours. Tell us which events matter most and we will build the coverage around them.
We capture the reception in full, the speeches, the first dance and the bhangra on the floor. The wedding day itself is a journey, from the morning milni and the kirtan to the laavan and the doli.
Why choose us
We have spent twenty-five years learning the detail of the Anand Karaj, and it shows in every gallery. Over a thousand celebrations have taught us when to step close for the milni and when to stand quietly back during the laavan.
We travel happily across Greater London and the neighbouring counties for the maiyan, the Anand Karaj and the doli alike. From London we reach Merton easily, and we know the darbar sahib and langar halls of Greater London well.

Where we travel
We are glad to discuss your gurdwara, your reception venue and the journey between them when you enquire. We are used to Sikh celebrations spread across several venues, and keep the day flowing from the milni to the langar.
