We let the nikah unfold at its own pace and meet the rukhsati with a quiet, watchful eye. We read the rhythm of a nikah and walima and are always in position for the signing of the nikah-nama. We respect gender-segregated celebrations and plan our coverage of the men's and ladies' sides with care.

We are often in Merton for Muslim weddings, and from London the area, taking in Wandsworth, Sutton, is an easy journey. Merton is a south-west London borough, home to Wimbledon. We photograph the signing of the nikah-nama by the couple and their witnesses with quiet attention. We are mindful of every family's customs at the nikah, Pakistani, Bengali, Arab or Turkish. The signatures of the witnesses that complete the nikah-nama are captured with care.

We photograph the bridal preparations with a gentle, unobtrusive eye. We capture the family moments around the bride and groom, not just the formal parts of the day. We capture the groom's arrival in procession, surrounded by celebrating family.
