Serving Wandsworth
Wandsworth is a riverside south-west London borough. We are used to multi-venue days throughout Greater London, moving smoothly between Lambeth, Merton. Whether your Anand Karaj is in Wandsworth itself or elsewhere across Greater London, we plan the day around your venues.
We photograph with warmth and respect, mindful of the meaning behind each shabad the ragis sing. Our approach is relaxed and documentary, so you can be present in your own Anand Karaj rather than posing for it. We photograph the sacred and the joyful with equal care, the Anand Karaj as faithfully as the bhangra.
Sikh families across Lambeth, Merton trust us with their weddings, and Wandsworth, a riverside south-west London borough, is a place we return to often. We also cover nearby Wealdstone and Westminster. Wandsworth and the towns around it offer venues such as Wandsworth Civic Suite, Roehampton Club and Winchester House, all familiar to us.
A riverside south-west London borough with leafy commons, riverside developments and a strong family community. Served by Clapham Junction, one of Britain's busiest interchange stations, and Wandsworth Town station. For relaxed couple photographs, we like Wandsworth Common, a large open green with woodland and lakes, and The restored Battersea Power Station on the borough's riverfront gives the day a strong sense of Wandsworth.

What we offer
Punjabi and Sikh weddings across every family tradition, with the milni and the laavan understood.
The four hymns the couple circle the Guru Granth Sahib for, photographed with quiet reverence from the side of the darbar sahib.
Beautifully bound albums designed around your favourite images of the four laavan and the milni.
Every tradition
We work discreetly at the back and the sides of the darbar sahib, so the Anand Karaj is never disturbed. We keep our distance during the laavan and the prayers, and step in only for the joyful greetings. We are ready for the palla, when the bride's father places the sash in the couple's hands before the laavan.
The jaggo night is an evening of music, dancing and pots lit with candles, and we capture all of its energy. From the first event to the last, we tell the full story of the celebration. We capture the lively milni as the two families meet, with the garlands, the dhol and the embraces.

The whole celebration
The days before the wedding often hold the most relaxed, candid moments of the whole celebration. The pre-wedding events often span several days, each with its own mood.
The wedding day itself is a journey, from the morning milni and the kirtan to the laavan and the doli. We know the order and timing of the wedding day, so we are always in position for each laav.
Why choose us
We have photographed Sikh weddings and their gurdwara ceremonies across the country for more than two decades. Sikh families return to us, and recommend us, because we treat every laav and every ardaas as it deserves.
We factor in the early gurdwara timings and the milni carefully, so we are always in position before the four laavan. We cover London and the surrounding area and beyond for the darbar sahib and the reception, and are glad to travel further afield on request.

Where we travel
We cover the whole of the UK for Anand Karaj ceremonies, so distance never stands between us and your gurdwara. We photograph across Greater London regularly, and travelling to a gurdwara in Wandsworth is second nature to us.

Good to know
Yes. For larger Sikh weddings we bring a second photographer, so the milni and the bridal preparations can be covered at once and both the ceremony and the guests are fully captured.
Yes. We know the four laavan well, and understand that the couple circle the Guru Granth Sahib once for each hymn. We photograph every round quietly from a respectful distance.
Of course. Whether it is an intimate Anand Karaj or a celebration of several hundred, we tailor our coverage to your day and your family.
Yes. We understand gurdwara etiquette, cover our heads, remove our shoes and work from the sides and back with a long lens, never turning our back to the Guru Granth Sahib.
Always. We carry backup cameras, lenses and memory cards to every wedding, and back up your images on the day, so your photographs are safe.
