Serving Newham
Newham is a fast-changing east London borough. We regularly photograph Tamil weddings throughout Tower Hamlets, Barking and Dagenham and the surrounding part of Greater London. From the muhurtham to the reception, we keep the day flowing across venues throughout Greater London.
We balance documentary coverage with a few quiet portraits, so your album holds both the nadaswaram's energy and elegance. Our approach is relaxed and documentary, so you can be present at your own muhurtham rather than posing for it. We capture the details too, the Kanjeevaram silk, the temple jewellery and the jasmine, that make your day yours.
Whether your celebration is in Newham itself or elsewhere in Greater London, we plan travel and timings with care. Newham is a fast-changing east London borough. We also photograph in nearby North Harrow and Northwood. Newham and the towns around it offer venues such as East Ham Town Hall, The Grove Banqueting and Crown Banqueting Suite, all familiar to us.
A fast-changing east London borough, one of the capital's most ethnically diverse, and host of the 2012 Olympic Games. Served by Stratford station on the Elizabeth line, Jubilee line and DLR, with the A13 crossing the borough. For pre-wedding and couple portraits, we love spots such as West Ham Park, managed by the City of London, with The London Stadium in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park close by for a striking backdrop.

What we offer
The entrance, the greetings and the celebration after the thali tying, captured to the very last guest.
The exchange of garlands lifted high above the guests, a moment of laughter and joy.
Beautifully bound albums built around the thali tying and the muhurtham, to pass down the family.
Every tradition
The saptapadi, the seven steps the couple take together, completes the marriage, and we photograph it with reverence. We photograph the kanyadaanam, the giving away of the bride, at the mandapam with quiet care. The thali, tied to the sound of the nadaswaram, is the sacred heart of the ceremony, and we capture it close.
We capture the family moments around the bride and groom, not just the rituals. The oonjal swing, the singing and the rice balls offered to the couple are full of family warmth. The nalangu, the playful post-wedding games between the couple and their families, is full of warmth and fun.

The whole celebration
A multi-day Tamil wedding can run across two or three days, and we plan our coverage around all of them. The days before the wedding often hold the most relaxed, candid moments of the whole celebration.
Just fifteen minutes is enough for a handful of timeless portraits near your venue. Whether the wedding and reception are on the same day or spread across a weekend, we plan for it.
Why choose us
Couples choose us for our calm presence and our knowledge of every ritual, from the kashi yatra to the saptapadi. Experience means we are ready for the early muhurtham, the precise timing and the order of the mandapam rituals.
We cover London and the surrounding area and beyond, and are glad to travel further afield for the muhurtham on request. We are glad to discuss your temple, your mandapam and the journey between your venues when you enquire.

Where we travel
From our London base, Newham and the rest of Greater London are an easy, familiar journey for a Tamil wedding. An early muhurtham often means an early start on the road, and we plan the drive to the mandapam without fuss.
