Serving Newham
Newham is a fast-changing east London borough. Muslim families throughout Tower Hamlets, Barking and Dagenham trust us with their celebrations, large and small. Your celebration is in experienced hands, from the mehndi to the last dance of the walima.
We capture the details too, the henna, the nikah-nama and the mehndi jewellery, that make your day yours. We balance documentary coverage of the baraat with a few quiet portraits, so your album holds both energy and elegance. We photograph the small moments of the mehndi as carefully as the vows of the nikah.
Newham is a fast-changing east London borough, and we love photographing Muslim weddings here and across London and the surrounding area. We regularly cover nearby North Harrow and Northwood as well. Close to Newham, we have worked at venues including East Ham Town Hall, The Grove Banqueting and Crown Banqueting Suite.
A fast-changing east London borough, one of the capital's most ethnically diverse, and host of the 2012 Olympic Games. Served by Stratford station on the Elizabeth line, Jubilee line and DLR, with the A13 crossing the borough. When there is time for couple portraits, West Ham Park, managed by the City of London is a favourite, and The London Stadium in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park makes a memorable setting.

What we offer
The groom's family walima feast, from the grand entrance to the last dance, captured in full.
From the morning preparations to the last dance of the walima, every event told as one story.
The mangni, the engagement that opens the journey to the nikah, covered warmly when families ask.
Every tradition
We know the order of the nikah by heart, so we are always in position for each moment. At the heart of a Muslim wedding is the nikah, the marriage contract that joins the couple. We work quietly around the imam so the nikah is never disturbed.
We capture the family moments around the bride and groom, not just the formal parts of the day. We photograph the bridal preparations with a gentle, unobtrusive eye. Where the celebrations are segregated, we cover the men's and ladies' sides with equal care.

The whole celebration
The days before the wedding often hold the most relaxed, candid moments of the whole celebration. We can join you for a single event or follow the whole journey from the very first celebration.
On the wedding day, the nikah, the signing of the contract and the mahr build to the rukhsati and the walima. The wedding day itself is a journey, from the nikah and the ijab-e-qubool to the rukhsati and the walima.
Why choose us
We bring the steadiness that only comes from photographing the mehndi and the walima for twenty-five years. With twenty-five years and over a thousand weddings behind us, nothing about a nikah or walima surprises us.
We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us to mosques and banqueting halls across London and the surrounding area. We are glad to discuss your masjid, your walima venue and the journey between them when you enquire.

Where we travel
We will travel to your nikah, your walima and your mehndi and dholki, wherever they are held. A female photographer for the ladies' side travels with us wherever your mehndi and walima are held.

Most Muslim weddings run from the morning preparations through to the walima, so full-day coverage works best. For multi-day celebrations, taking in the mehndi and the dholki, we tailor the hours to your events and your budget.
Yes. We photograph Pakistani, Bengali, Indian, Arab, Turkish and Somali Muslim weddings, and are familiar with the differences in their customs, the events they blend with the nikah, and the order in which the day unfolds.
