The Lickey Hills rise behind Bromsgrove and give this Worcestershire market town something most of its neighbours lack: elevation, and with it long views to place behind a couple in the evening. Lickey Hills Country Park is the wider option, while Sanders Park, on the west side of town, is the quick one when only ten minutes are available. Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings at Stoke Heath is both landmark and venue, a collection of buildings that yields a great deal of variety within a small area. The station sits on the Cross-City Line to Birmingham New Street at the foot of the Lickey Incline, with the M5 and M42 close by, so guests can arrive by road or rail. Barnt Green, Rubery and Stoke Heath all lie close to the town.
