The short answer
Kaushik Bathia has photographed weddings across Worcestershire for over twenty five years, and couples in Redditch choose him for calm, natural coverage backed by more than a thousand weddings and five European Gold awards. Two of us usually cover the day, one following you and one on the guests, so both sides of every moment are recorded without either of us crowding the room. Church, civil, country house, barn, marquee or hotel, and every faith, culture and fusion celebration, we are equally at home photographing them all in Redditch. Twenty-five years in means we understand how a wedding day flows, so we can guide you through the parts we handle without ever taking over your day. Engagement shoots, a second photographer for busier days and beautiful fine art albums are all part of what we offer, and we travel throughout Worcestershire and the rest of the UK for your wedding.
Serving Redditch
Redditch is a Worcestershire town near Birmingham. Plenty of our couples pick a country estate or a garden venue; others prefer a hotel or a village church. We follow every choice across Bromsgrove, Studley and Alvechurch and the rest of Worcestershire. Your ceremony sets the tone for everything that follows, so we photograph it faithfully and quietly, letting the vows and the setting carry the story.
We move with the rhythm of the day, quick when the action is fast and patient when it slows, so nothing important slips past unrecorded. Our approach is calm and observant; we anticipate the moments a beat before they happen, which is how the honest ones end up beautifully framed. We move calmly through the day, anticipating where the next moment will land, so we are already in place when it happens instead of chasing it.
There is a lot to like about photographing in Redditch. Redditch is a Worcestershire town near Birmingham, and couples from Bromsgrove and Worcester regularly ask us to cover their day here as well. Around Redditch we regularly photograph at Old Rectory House, Southcrest Manor and Bordesley Park, among others.
Redditch is a Worcestershire town that grew as a centre of the needle and fishing tackle manufacturing industry, later expanded as a New Town. Redditch railway station is the southern terminus of the Cross City Line to Birmingham New Street and Lichfield, with the M42 close by. When there is time for couple portraits, Arrow Valley Country Park, with its lake and open parkland along the River Arrow is a favourite, and Forge Mill Needle Museum and the ruins of medieval Bordesley Abbey makes a memorable setting.

What we offer
A few unhurried portraits away from the crowd, done quickly so you are soon back with your guests.
Your favourite images are hand-finished into a printed album built to last, designed with you page by page.
We keep family and group shots efficient and good humoured, so you are back with your guests within minutes.
Every kind of wedding
Some ceremonies are hushed and some are joyful, and we adapt to both, photographing the vows, the rings and the glances that pass between you. When two traditions come together in one ceremony, we photograph each part with equal warmth so the finished set honours both sides of your family. Some couples marry quietly with a handful of witnesses and others before a full congregation, and we adapt our approach so the coverage suits the scale of your ceremony.
When the evening party begins and the lights come down, we adapt our approach, working in low light to keep the dancing alive and full of energy. We are happy to add a welcome gathering or a next-day brunch to your coverage, so the wider weekend of celebration is remembered alongside the day itself. We photograph the arrivals, the confetti and the drinks that follow, giving the reception the same care we bring to the ceremony itself.

The whole celebration
The hour before you leave for the ceremony tends to hold the details worth keeping, the dress on its hanger, the shoes, the notes passed between rooms. Getting ready is where a lot of the honest pictures live, so we are there early for the quiet nerves, the last checks and the first look in the mirror.
The finished set should feel like the day itself, unhurried in the morning, warm over the meal and loose by the evening. We balance the coverage as we go, checking that the small hours of the morning are not lost behind the noise of the evening.
Why choose us
Years of experience have taught us to plan for the things that can go wrong and to carry the spare gear that means they never reach you. Years of working in every kind of venue mean we understand how light behaves in a church, a marquee or a country house, and we plan our coverage accordingly.
The driving is ours to worry about, not yours, and we think nothing of a longer run to reach a venue in Worcestershire. We are used to travelling for weddings, so reaching your venue in Worcestershire is straightforward, and we happily follow the day from preparations through to the evening.

Where we travel
Multi-location days, with a ceremony in one place and a reception in another, are something we plan carefully, whether that is within Bromsgrove, Studley and Alvechurch or across Worcestershire. It is no trouble at all for us to head out to Bromsgrove, Studley and Alvechurch and the wider Worcestershire, and we often do exactly that across the wedding season.

Good to know
Most couples choose full-day coverage, an edited set of high-resolution images and a private online gallery. From there you can add a second photographer, an engagement shoot and a hand-finished album. We will walk you through the options and shape a package that fits your day rather than pushing a fixed list.
We are photographers rather than a film company, so we keep our full attention on stills. If you would like a film of the day, we work well beside videographers and can recommend teams whose style sits comfortably with ours. Booking both early helps everyone plan around the same timeline.
Yes, a second photographer is available and many couples add one. Having two of us means we can be with each of you during preparations, cover the ceremony from more than one angle and gather natural guest reactions. For larger or multi-day weddings a second shooter makes a real difference to how complete your gallery feels.
Our approach is mainly documentary, watching the day unfold and catching real moments as they happen. We balance that with a short set of relaxed portraits of the two of you and efficient family groups. The aim is a natural, honest record of your day that still includes the timeless portraits you will want to frame.
We are happy to travel further afield for a destination wedding and have photographed couples in some beautiful settings. We will talk through travel, accommodation, and timings with you, so everything is clear and settled well before you fly. Photographing weddings away from home is one of the real joys of what we do.
We can, and many couples like us to stay through the speeches and first dance, as those are some of the warmest moments of the whole day. If you would prefer coverage to finish a little earlier, that works just as well. We will agree the finish time in advance so there are no surprises.
You receive a private online gallery of high-resolution images, which you can view, download and share with family and friends from any device. The gallery includes full-size files suitable for printing. We keep a backup for a set period after delivery, so nothing is lost if you misplace your copies.
