We work in available light wherever we can, adding a soft flash only when a dark room needs it, so the images stay true to how the evening looked. You will barely notice us at work, and that is the point; we move calmly around the day so the pictures show how it actually felt, not how it was arranged. We keep a low profile through the ceremony and speeches, using longer lenses from a distance so nobody feels watched and the real reactions come through.

We often take couples to Cripplegate Park beside the River Severn, a short walk from the city centre for a few quiet portraits, and Worcester Cathedral, overlooking the River Severn and burial place of King John is a lovely backdrop nearby.

As you take your seats and the ceremony begins, we are already positioned, ready for the first look, the tears and the small unguarded reactions. From the moment the doors open to the confetti afterwards, we treat the ceremony as the heart of the day and photograph it with patience and care.

We handle the group photographs briskly and kindly, keeping the list short so you are not pulled away from your guests for longer than you need to be. From getting ready in the morning to the final send off, we document the whole day as it flows, so nothing between the big moments is lost. Group shots need not be stiff, and we keep them relaxed and quick, gathering families in good humour so nobody stands about waiting in the sun.
