Yes. The muhurtham has its own appointed hour and the thali goes on quickly, so what matters is agreeing beforehand who will tell us it is imminent. That instant will not wait while somebody looks around for us.

Broadly, though we ask anyway. Families vary the order between them, drop things, add something inherited from a grandmother. Reading the running order you actually intend to follow beats assuming a textbook version and getting it wrong at speed.
