The rest is connective tissue and it deserves proper attention. Arrivals, the grandmother being helped up a step, a room turning over between functions, the quayside on the Exe if an hour opens up. None of that appears on a running order, so we shoot it opportunistically and keep something in reserve for it. A weekend covered only at its peaks reads, afterwards, like somebody else's highlights. The dull half hours are where your own weekend is stored.
