Serving Nottingham
Nottingham is an East Midlands city with a diverse community and country-house venues. We travel throughout Nottinghamshire for Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Gujarati and Tamil weddings, and Hyson Green, West Bridgford and Beeston are all familiar to us. From grand banqueting suites to intimate temple ceremonies, we are at home everywhere across Nottinghamshire.
We bring a long lens and a light touch, so the most sacred parts of the day are captured from a respectful distance. We are a reassuring, familiar presence, so everyone relaxes and the day flows naturally. We are at ease with large, multi-day celebrations and intimate ceremonies alike.
We are often in Nottingham for Asian weddings, and from London the area, taking in Hyson Green, West Bridgford and Beeston, is an easy journey. Nottingham is an East Midlands city with a diverse community and country-house venues. We also photograph in nearby Loughborough and Derby. Asian wedding venues we know near Nottingham include Goosedale, Colwick Hall Hotel and The Nottinghamshire.
Nottingham is an East Midlands city with a diverse community, associated with the legend of Robin Hood and its lace making heritage. Nottingham railway station is served by the Midland Main Line and East Midlands Railway, with the NET tram network serving the wider city. For relaxed couple photographs, we like Wollaton Park, with its deer herd and lake around Wollaton Hall, and Wollaton Hall, an Elizabethan house set in Wollaton Park gives the day a strong sense of Nottingham.

What we offer
Fine prints and framed art to bring your favourite images home.
Calm, unobtrusive coverage that captures the day as you lived it, never staged.
Hand-finished albums that hold the whole story of your Asian celebration.
Every tradition
From the kanyadaan to the saptapadi, or the first laav to the last, the ceremony tells its own story and we follow it. We know the order of the rituals in each tradition, so we are always in position. We are ready for the giving of the sindoor and the tying of the mangalsutra at a Hindu ceremony.
The reception is the joyful finale, with speeches, the first dance and the bhangra. The dhol and dancing of the baraat are pure joy, and we capture every bit of the energy. The pre-wedding events are often where the most natural photographs come from, and we give them full attention.

The whole celebration
Whether your family keeps a haldi, a pithi, a mehndi or all of them, we photograph each as you keep it. The sangeet brings an evening of rehearsed dances and late-night music before the wedding day itself.
We photograph the ceremony, the portraits and the reception in balance, so each is given its due. We document the grand moments and the quiet ones in between, so nothing is lost.
Why choose us
Experience means we are ready for early starts, muhurat and muhurtham timings and the precise order of rituals. Decades of weddings mean we read the day instinctively and never miss the moments that matter.
Wherever your events take place across the Midlands, we will be there in good time. Multi-venue days are never an issue; we plan the route and the timings in advance.

Where we travel
We photograph weddings throughout the Midlands, and Nottingham is firmly within the area we cover. We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us across the Midlands.

Good to know
Yes. Twenty-five years across Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Gujarati and Tamil weddings mean we know each tradition's order of events, so we are always in position for the moments that matter.
Most Asian weddings run from the morning preparations through to the reception, so full-day coverage works best and captures the whole story. For multi-day celebrations we tailor the hours to your events, and can cover a single key day or a long weekend from beginning to end.
Yes. We photograph the dignity of the nikah, the signing of the contract and the giving of the mehr, along with the warmth of the walima, working respectfully within the customs of your family and arranging additional photographers where events are held separately.
Yes. A pre-wedding shoot is a lovely way to relax in front of the camera before the big day, and we are happy to arrange one at a location you love.
Absolutely. We regularly cover the mehndi, the sangeet, the haldi, the ceremony and the reception across two or three days in Nottingham, and we bring additional photographers for the largest celebrations so that no event, from the baraat to the last dance, is ever missed.
