A church works differently. The building supplies the drama, the aisle supplies the movement, and the light arrives through windows positioned for reasons that had no camera in mind. Marquees give you neither, only canvas that tints everything beneath it green or cream, which is fixable but has to be fixed deliberately. Group shots are the same problem everywhere: a list, somebody who knows the names, and fifteen disciplined minutes. Write the list yourself and give a cousin with a carrying voice the job of calling it, because a photographer reading names off a phone in a car park is the slowest thing at any wedding.
