The short answer
Kaushik Bathia has photographed weddings across Hampshire for over twenty five years, and couples in Farnborough choose him for calm, natural coverage backed by more than a thousand weddings and five European Gold awards. Rather than lining people up, we let groups form on their own and photograph them as they laugh and talk, keeping the whole thing loose and relaxed. Whatever your wedding looks like in Farnborough, a church service, a register office, a country house, a barn or a hotel, and whatever your traditions, we photograph the whole day as it happens. Experience teaches you to expect the unexpected; after so many weddings we have a quiet plan for rain, delays and last minute changes, and it rarely shows. A second photographer, relaxed engagement shoots and hand finished fine art albums are all available, and we travel across Hampshire and the wider UK so distance is never a problem.
Serving Farnborough
Farnborough is a Hampshire town. From rustic barns and marquees to elegant hotels and historic churches, we cover the venues right across Aldershot, Fleet and Frimley and beyond into Hampshire. However you choose to marry, we read the room first, learn where to stand and then document the exchange of vows as it truly unfolds.
Rather than directing every scene, we let your day breathe and photograph it as it happens, stepping in gently only when a group shot needs a little order. We prefer honest to perfect, so we hold back from rearranging people or props and let the day look the way it really was as it happened. We treat every wedding as its own story, so nothing is forced into a formula and the pictures reflect your people, your setting and your mood.
Farnborough is one of the places we come back to season after season. Farnborough is a Hampshire town, and our work naturally reaches the nearby Aldershot and Southampton too. Local wedding venues we know near Farnborough include Northbrook Park and Froyle Park.
Farnborough is a Hampshire town in the Blackwater Valley long associated with aviation and the biennial Farnborough Airshow. Farnborough Main railway station is on the South Western Main Line from London Waterloo, near junction 4 of the M3. For relaxed couple photographs, we like Farnborough Park, a public park with open green space near the town centre, and The Farnborough Air Sciences Trust Museum, set in the historic 1908 Royal Balloon School headquarters gives the day a strong sense of Farnborough.

What we offer
A second pair of eyes covers what one camera cannot, from your partner getting ready to reactions across the room.
Quiet preparation hours carry real feeling, so we photograph the details, the nerves and the calm before you leave.
A relaxed shoot before the wedding lets us get to know each other and helps you feel at ease on the day.
Every kind of wedding
We understand that every ceremony has its own rhythm, so we read the room, keep our movement minimal and photograph the vows as they truly happen. A civil service, a religious blessing or a humanist gathering all deserve the same careful eye, and we work softly so your guests barely notice the camera is there. We keep to the edges during the ceremony, using quiet cameras and natural light so your officiant, your guests and your vows are never interrupted.
Between the set pieces there are portraits of just the two of you, and we keep those short and natural so you can slip back to the party quickly. An engagement shoot in a Farnborough setting you both love makes lovely pictures in their own right and eases any nerves before the wedding proper. We give the reception room its due before your guests arrive, photographing the flowers, the place settings and the details you spent months choosing.

The whole celebration
Morning prep has its own rhythm, and we work quietly through it, letting the anticipation build in the pictures rather than staging it. For families marking the days ahead of the wedding, we can be there for the henna, the prayers and the shared meals that lead up to it.
Rather than chasing every second, we hold the shape of the day, giving each part enough frames to stand on its own later. Balance is everything, and we make sure the tender pauses get as much space in your gallery as the toasts, the tears and the dancing.
Why choose us
The awards are nice to have, but the real reassurance is a thousand couples who let us photograph one of the most important days of their lives. We have photographed weddings since 2001, and in that time we have learned to read a running order quickly and to keep things moving gently when the schedule slips.
We are happy to follow you wherever the celebration leads, and venues throughout Hampshire are all comfortably within our reach. Reaching venues across Aldershot, Fleet and Frimley and the rest of Hampshire is part of our routine, and we build travel time into the plan so we are always ready before you are.

Where we travel
The driving is ours to worry about, not yours, and we think nothing of a longer run to reach a venue in Hampshire. We check the route, the timings and the parking in advance for every booking, which keeps the trip to your venue in Aldershot, Fleet and Frimley or across Hampshire calm on the day.

Good to know
Most of the day is documentary, so we record things as they happen without staging them. The exception is a short set of group shots and a relaxed portrait session, where a little gentle direction helps. Even then we keep it natural, so the portraits still look like you rather than a stiff studio pose.
We offer professional prints, framed pieces and wall art produced by trusted UK labs, so the colour and quality match how the images look on screen. You can also print your own from the high-resolution files. If you want help choosing which frames suit a wall, we are happy to advise.
Yes, and it is one of the most useful things we do. Once we know your ceremony time and your plans around Farnborough, we help you build in enough room for portraits and groups without stealing time from your guests. A well-judged timeline is the difference between a rushed day and a calm one.
Yes. Every couple receives their full set of edited high-resolution images through a private online gallery, with the freedom to print them for your own use. You can download them, order prints, and share the link with loved ones who could not be there. Your photographs are yours to enjoy for many years to come.
Almost certainly. We photograph at every kind of venue, from country houses and barns to hotels, register offices and places of worship in and around Farnborough. If we have not worked there before we research the space and, where possible, visit or arrive early to read the light and plan the key shots.
It depends on your schedule. Preparations through to the first dance usually needs eight to ten hours, while a shorter civil ceremony and reception can work in less. We are happy to look at your rough timeline and suggest the hours that cover the moments you care about without paying for time you do not need.
Yes. We photograph weddings right across Hampshire and the surrounding counties, and further afield throughout the UK. Wherever your ceremony and reception are, and whether they share a venue or sit miles apart, we plan the logistics with you in advance so the timeline holds and no coverage is lost travelling between them.
