Serving Farnborough
Farnborough is a Hampshire town with a South Asian community. From grand banqueting venues to the calm of the darbar sahib, we are at home everywhere across Aldershot, Fleet and Frimley. Whether your Anand Karaj is in Farnborough itself or elsewhere across Hampshire, we plan the day around your venues.
We photograph with warmth and respect, mindful of the meaning behind each shabad the ragis sing. We keep the calm of the kirtan and the exuberance of the reception in equal measure. Inside the gurdwara we never turn our back to the Guru Granth Sahib, shooting discreetly from the sides and the back.
Wherever your venues are across Farnborough and Hampshire, we plan the route and the early gurdwara timings in advance. Farnborough is a Hampshire town with a South Asian community. We also photograph in nearby Aldershot and Southampton. Local Sikh wedding venues we know near Farnborough include Northbrook Park and Froyle Park.
Farnborough is a Hampshire town in the Blackwater Valley long associated with aviation and the biennial Farnborough Airshow. Farnborough Main railway station is on the South Western Main Line from London Waterloo, near junction 4 of the M3. For pre-wedding and couple portraits, we love spots such as Farnborough Park, a public park with open green space near the town centre, with The Farnborough Air Sciences Trust Museum, set in the historic 1908 Royal Balloon School headquarters close by for a striking backdrop.

What we offer
We keep the calm of the darbar sahib and work quietly within gurdwara etiquette.
Punjabi and Sikh weddings across every family tradition, with the milni and the laavan understood.
A sneak preview of the Anand Karaj soon after the wedding, with your full gallery to follow.
Every tradition
The most sacred moments inside the gurdwara are captured with a quiet long lens, from a respectful distance. The hukamnama, the reading taken after the laavan, closes the ceremony, and we capture it with respect. For families holding a Sri Akhand Path, we photograph the continuous reading with quiet reverence.
We photograph the sehra bandi, when the groom's turban and sehra are tied, with all its ceremony. We capture the lively milni as the two families meet, with the garlands, the dhol and the embraces. We are glad to cover a single event or the whole multi-day celebration.

The whole celebration
We can join you for a single event or follow the whole journey from the very first ritual. Many Sikh weddings begin days before with the maiyan, the mehndi and a jaggo night.
We keep the day flowing, moving smoothly between the ceremony, the langar, the family photos and the reception. The vegetarian langar follows the ceremony, and we photograph the whole sangat sharing the meal.
Why choose us
We bring the steadiness that only comes from photographing the Anand Karaj for twenty-five years. Decades of gurdwara weddings mean we read the day instinctively and never miss the milni or the doli.
We are London-based and travel across Hampshire and the wider region for the Anand Karaj and every event around it. From our London base, Farnborough and the gurdwaras of Hampshire are an easy, familiar journey.

Where we travel
We factor in the early gurdwara timings and the milni carefully, so we are always in position before the four laavan. We cover the whole of the UK for Anand Karaj ceremonies, so distance never stands between us and your gurdwara.

Good to know
Yes. We know the four laavan well, and understand that the couple circle the Guru Granth Sahib once for each hymn. We photograph every round quietly from a respectful distance.
Yes. We understand that gurdwaras often require an early finish, so the Anand Karaj usually falls in the morning. We plan our coverage around it and always arrive in good time.
Sikh wedding dates and popular gurdwaras book up well ahead, so we recommend enquiring as early as you can. Tell us your wedding date and we will confirm availability straight away.
