A Stafford wedding could be a ceremony for up to 50 in the Drawing Room at Judges Chambers on St Martins Place, a small civil ceremony at the Ancient High House or Izaak Walton's Cottage, or a day at the Moat House or Sandon Hall, and we would plan each one around its own rooms. Light falls very differently in a Grade II listed manor house, a ceremony room in the County Buildings and a Tudor timber-framed town house, so our coverage is planned around the room you choose. An engagement shoot, a second photographer and hand finished albums can be added, and as we travel from Northwood, travel and any overnight stay are quoted in writing before you book.
A Norman motte carrying a later medieval keep stands on one side of this Staffordshire county town, and the grounds of Stafford Castle give raised, open ground that photographs very differently from Victoria Park beside the River Sow in the centre. Having both means a couple can choose between elevation and water without a long drive. The timber framed Ancient High House provides a third option, a street level frame with genuine age to it. The Moat House and Sandon Hall both sit in their own grounds outside the centre, which usually settles the question of whether the day travels at all. Stafford railway station is on the West Coast Main Line with the M6 passing at junctions 13 and 14, so guests arriving from a distance are rarely late, and family in Eccleshall, Penkridge and Gnosall can be gathered quickly for the formal groups.
