The baraat is the genuinely unpredictable one, because it happens outdoors, on other people's time, with a drum. We handle it as reportage and make no attempt to direct it. A morning muhurtham, by contrast, runs to a clock and rewards being early and quiet. Those two opposite demands are the reason several days of celebration want a plan per event instead of one plan for the weekend.
