A week with several events in it, each in a different building, is a common shape for an Asian wedding. Every one has its own light, its own hours and its own crowd. Treat all of them as one job with one approach and you get days of pictures that resemble one another, which wastes a week nobody is going to repeat. Different rooms deserve different answers. Orton Hall Hotel is one venue in the city.
What we watch for is the space between them. Nobody schedules the stretch while a family loads a car, or the twenty minutes after one hall empties and before the next room fills. Nobody requests those frames either, and they are what people pick out of the finished set most often. We stay through them instead of packing down when the scheduled part stops.

A palki leaving is easy and gorgeous. A quiet exchange in a side room is neither, and it is likelier to be the picture your mother frames. We would rather ask before the week begins than during it, since by then the schedule is fixed and so is where everybody stands.
