The Vidaai
The most emotional moment of the day, photographed with great sensitivity and care.
Gujarati and Hindu wedding photography in Peterborough, covering the mandvo, the pithi, the hastamelap and the four mangal pheras, with twenty-five years of experience and hand-finished albums.
Serving Peterborough
Peterborough is a cathedral city with a strong South Asian community. We are comfortable in every setting in Millfield, Stanground and Werrington, from a lavish mandap to a quiet family puja. We cover the whole of East Anglia, and Peterborough and the towns around it are well known to us.
We follow your family's customs closely and photograph them exactly as you keep them. Our approach is relaxed and documentary, so you can be present in your own wedding. We are calm and unhurried, gathering the whole story without ever getting in the way.
From the mandap to the reception, we keep the day flowing across Cambridgeshire, and Peterborough is firmly within our patch. We also photograph in nearby Cambridge and Huntingdon.

What we offer
The most emotional moment of the day, photographed with great sensitivity and care.
We keep the calm of the mandap and work quietly around the pandit and the fire.
A handful of timeless, beautifully lit portraits amid the celebration.
Every tradition
The exchange of garlands high above the guests is a moment of laughter and joy, and we are ready for it. The most sacred parts of the day are captured from a respectful distance with a quiet long lens. For Gujarati families, we know the hastamelap and the four mangal pheras and photograph each as you keep it.
We photograph the milni, when the two families meet, with all of its warmth. The vidaai, when the bride leaves her family home, is the most tender moment of the day. The haldi is full of colour and play, and often holds the warmest, most natural moments.

The whole celebration
The turmeric of the haldi and the henna of the mehndi are rich with colour, and we make the most of it. Tell us which events matter most and we will build the coverage around them.
We keep the day flowing, moving smoothly between the ceremony, the family photos and the reception. Just fifteen minutes is enough for a handful of timeless portraits near your venue.
Why choose us
We are trusted with celebrations of every size, from intimate ceremonies to several hundred guests. With twenty-five years and over a thousand weddings behind us, nothing about a Hindu ceremony surprises us.
We cover East Anglia and beyond, and are glad to travel further afield on request. We are used to celebrations spread across several venues, and keep the day flowing between them.

Where we travel
We cover the whole of the UK for weddings, so distance never stands in the way. Wherever your events take place across East Anglia, we will be there in good time.

Yes. For larger Hindu weddings we bring a second photographer so the mandap rituals and the guests are both fully covered, and the baraat and the bridal preparations can be photographed at once.
Yes. Alongside your edited digital gallery we design a hand-finished, fine-art album, so the whole story of your celebration is held in something to pass down.
