When there is time for couple portraits, Dunorlan Park, a Victorian park with a boating lake, and Calverley Grounds is a favourite, and The Pantiles, a colonnaded Georgian walkway, and the Chapel of King Charles the Martyr makes a memorable setting.

We know the order of the rituals in each tradition, so we are always in position. We keep our distance during the most solemn moments and step in only for the joyful ones. At a Hindu wedding, the pheras around the sacred fire seal the marriage, and we capture them close.

The haldi or pithi is full of colour and play, and often holds the warmest, most natural moments. The pre-wedding events are often where the most natural photographs come from, and we give them full attention. The mehndi or henna night is intimate and detailed, and we photograph both the henna and the laughter around it.
