From haldi to vidaai

We know the order of the mandap rituals by heart, so we are always in position. We photograph the kanyadaan and the joining of hands at the mandap with quiet care. We work quietly around the pandit so the ceremony at the mandap is never disturbed.

The mehndi night, the sangeet and the haldi each carry their own mood, and we photograph them all. The pre-wedding events are often where the most natural photographs come from, and we give them full attention. We capture the groom's arrival in procession, on a horse or in a car, surrounded by dancing family.
