We work quietly around the pandit so the ceremony at the mandap is never disturbed. At the heart of a Hindu wedding is the agni, the sacred fire that witnesses the marriage. The pheras around the agni, each carrying a vow, are the heart of the ceremony, and we capture them close.

For Gujarati families, we know the mandvo, the grah shanti and the pithi, and photograph each with care. From the turmeric of the haldi to the music of the sangeet, the events set the tone for the wedding. We capture the lively baraat as the groom arrives, with the dhol, the dancing and the milni.
