From the kanyadaan to the saptapadi, or the first laav to the last, the ceremony tells its own story and we follow it.

We work discreetly around the priest, the granthi or the imam, never intruding on a sacred moment. We move quietly through the day, capturing the real moments rather than staging them. Our approach is relaxed and documentary, so you can be present in your own wedding.

Much of our work takes us across South Yorkshire; Doncaster, a South Yorkshire town with country venues, and the towns around it, including Bentley, Bessacarr and Armthorpe, are very familiar to us. We also cover nearby Sheffield and Rotherham. Close to Doncaster, we have worked at venues including Owston Hall, Hooton Pagnell Hall and Rossington Hall.

Doncaster is a South Yorkshire town, granted city status in 2022, known for its railway heritage and Doncaster Racecourse. Doncaster railway station is a principal stop on the East Coast Main Line, with the A1(M) and M18 nearby. For pre-wedding and couple portraits, we love spots such as Cusworth Hall, a Georgian mansion set in landscaped parkland and gardens, with Doncaster Minster, the Church of St George, a grand Gothic Revival building close by for a striking backdrop.

For Tamil and South Indian families, the muhurtham reaches its heart as the thali is tied, and we are in position for that single, defining second. At a Muslim nikah we photograph the vows, the mehr and the joyful moment the couple are declared married.

From the first event to the last, we tell the full story of the celebration. At the milni the two families meet and embrace, garlands are exchanged and the elders greet one another, and we record the warmth of that first joining. A sangeet belongs to the family, all rehearsed dances and gentle teasing, and we keep pace with its energy late into the night.
