Queen's Park and nearby
Sessions usually begin with everyone together while energy is high, then break into smaller groups and moments of play. In the park, the children's farm or the sandpit area can become a reward between frames, and walking shots along the curving paths capture how the family moves together.
When you view the online gallery afterwards, you choose favourites at your own pace. Selected images are retouched naturally and delivered as web-ready and print-ready files, and framed prints, canvases and albums can be ordered for home or for grandparents.

We have been getting our pictures clicked with Mr. Bhatia for many years now, he is very reliable, excellent at his job and he is great with kids as well! I'd really recommend his services.
He was very professional, made us relaxed and got everyone to smile. The photos were beautiful especially the family portrait.
We had a family photo session with grandparents, parents sons and our dog too. Mr Bathia is good humoured, he got the best out of all of us and took some great photos.

Good to know
Both. Outdoors suits families with toddlers who need room to move, and Queen's Park offers lawns, trees and the bandstand close to home, subject to the Corporation's agreement for professional photography. It is about 10 miles from Queen's Park.
Tell us as early as you can and the date can be moved. Babies and toddlers get poorly or have bad days, and moving the session is always better than photographing a child who is miserable. Kaushik will then agree another date with you that suits the whole family.
Once you have picked your favourite family images, prints, frames, canvases and albums can be ordered from them. A single large canvas suits a living room wall, while an album keeps a whole session together and makes a lasting gift for grandparents. You also receive files for sharing online. Ask for prices by phone or WhatsApp.
Yes. Breaks for feeds, changes and snacks fit in easily, and Kaushik works at the child's pace.
Choose two or three colours for the family and let everyone wear their own combination of them instead of identical outfits. Soft, mid-tone colours sit well against the greens of Queen's Park, while very bright neon or large logos pull attention from faces. Bring a spare top for small children, and comfortable shoes for walking shots.
Serving Queen's Park
Families in Queen's Park, the village-like neighbourhood where Brent meets Westminster, are within the area covered for family photography. It sits close to Kilburn and Willesden Green, which we cover too.
Salusbury Road's cafes and the open lawns of the 30-acre park, looked after by the City of London Corporation, make Queen's Park a relaxed setting for a family session. Queen's Park station on the Bakerloo and Lioness lines makes it simple for grandparents to come and join in. Sessions on location near Queen's Park can use Queen's Park, with Queen's Park close at hand.

Guides
Family-session advice from our journal, useful before photographs in Queen's Park.
Few neighbourhood parks give a family session as much to work with as Queen's Park. Thirty acres of open lawn and big trees mean room for a toddler to run, the children's farm and the play area with its sandpit give younger ones a reason to stay happy, and the bandstand makes a natural place to gather everyone for the group picture. The paths curve rather than run straight, so walking shots, with children holding hands between parents, look effortless. Since the park's byelaws require an agreement with the City of London Corporation before photography for a business, a session there is arranged with the Corporation in advance. Paddington Recreation Ground, a little south in Maida Vale, has gardens and its own bandstand if you want a second option. Plan for the youngest member of the family: morning sessions after breakfast tend to suit small children, and snacks in a parent's pocket rescue many a wobble. Muted shades in two or three colours tend to look good against grass and trees. It is about 10 miles from Queen's Park. Choosing your favourites happens later in an online gallery, entirely without pressure.
