The Vidaai
The most emotional moment of the day, photographed with great sensitivity and care.
Award-winning Hindu wedding photographer in Biggleswade, from the kanyadaan and hastamelap to the saptapadi and the mangalsutra, with twenty-five years behind the lens and fine-art prints.
Serving Biggleswade
Biggleswade is a market town on the river Ivel. We photograph Hindu weddings across Bedfordshire, including Sandy, Shefford and Bedford, at mandaps, temples and banqueting halls. We cover the whole of the Home Counties, and Biggleswade and the towns around it are well known to us.
We bring a long lens and a light touch, so the most sacred parts of the day are captured from a respectful distance. We photograph with warmth and respect, mindful of the meaning behind each ritual. Our approach is relaxed and documentary, so you can be present in your own wedding.
From our London base we travel across Bedfordshire for Hindu weddings, and Biggleswade, a market town on the river Ivel, is a familiar destination. We also photograph in nearby Flitwick and Ampthill.

What we offer
The most emotional moment of the day, photographed with great sensitivity and care.
From the morning puja to the last dance of the reception, every event told as one story.
The dhol, the dancing and the groom's joyful arrival, photographed with all of its energy.
Every tradition
The exchange of garlands high above the guests is a moment of laughter and joy, and we are ready for it. We photograph the mangalsutra and sindoor, the signs of the new marriage, with tenderness. The pheras around the agni, each carrying a vow, are the heart of the ceremony, and we capture them close.
The mehndi night, the sangeet and the haldi each carry their own mood, and we photograph them all. The reception is the joyful finale, with speeches, the first dance and the bhangra. The vidaai, when the bride leaves her family home, is the most tender moment of the day.

The whole celebration
We can join you for a single event or follow the whole journey from the very first ritual. The pre-wedding events often span several days, each with its own mood.
For the busiest days, a second photographer covers two moments at once, the baraat and the bridal prep. The wedding day itself is a journey, from the groom's baraat and the milni to the pheras and the vidaai.
Why choose us
Our experience across Gujarati, Punjabi, Marwari and North Indian weddings runs deep. Over a thousand celebrations have taught us when to step in close and when to stand quietly back.
We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us across the Home Counties. We photograph across Bedfordshire regularly, and travelling to Biggleswade is second nature.

Where we travel
We photograph weddings throughout the Home Counties, and Biggleswade is firmly within the area we cover. Wherever your events take place across the Home Counties, we will be there in good time.
