The Mandap Ceremony
From the jaimala and kanyadaan to the pheras and saptapadi around the agni, every ritual and its timing understood.
Gujarati and Hindu wedding photography in Luton, capturing the sangeet, the baraat, the mandap and the reception as one story, and gathered into a fine-art album you will return to for years.
Serving Luton
Luton is a large town with one of the region's biggest South Asian communities, with temples, gurdwaras and mosques. From the mandap to the reception, we keep the day flowing across venues throughout Dunstable, Houghton Regis and Harpenden. We cover the whole of the Home Counties, and Luton and the towns around it are well known to us.
We photograph with warmth and respect, mindful of the meaning behind each ritual. Our approach is relaxed and documentary, so you can be present in your own wedding. We bring a long lens and a light touch, so the most sacred parts of the day are captured from a respectful distance.
We are often in Luton for Hindu weddings, and from London the area, taking in Dunstable, Houghton Regis and Harpenden, is an easy journey. We also photograph in nearby Dunstable and Bedford.

What we offer
From the jaimala and kanyadaan to the pheras and saptapadi around the agni, every ritual and its timing understood.
The dhol, the dancing and the groom's joyful arrival, photographed with all of its energy.
For large mandap days, a second shooter covers the baraat and the bridal prep at once.
Every tradition
We anticipate the muhurat, the auspicious hour that sets the pace of the ceremony. The jaimala, when the couple exchange garlands, is a moment of pure joy we love to photograph. We photograph the couple's first steps as husband and wife around the sacred fire.
The vidaai, when the bride leaves her family home, is the most tender moment of the day. The haldi is full of colour and play, and often holds the warmest, most natural moments. We capture the groom's arrival in procession, on a horse or in a car, surrounded by dancing family.

The whole celebration
We arrive in good time for each pre-wedding event and stay until the celebrations wind down. The celebration usually builds gradually, from the quiet of the puja to the exuberance of the sangeet.
From the morning preparations to the final dance, we give every part of the day the same care. Just fifteen minutes is enough for a handful of timeless portraits near your venue.
Why choose us
Twenty-five years behind the lens means we know exactly what comes next in the order of the day. Our experience across Gujarati, Punjabi, Marwari and North Indian weddings runs deep.
We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us across the Home Counties. We are used to celebrations spread across several venues, and keep the day flowing between them.

Where we travel
Distance is never a problem; travelling to your venues is simply part of how we work. We factor in travel and timings carefully, so we are always where we need to be.

Always. We carry backup cameras, lenses and memory cards to every wedding, and back up your images on the day, so your photographs are safe.
Most Hindu weddings run from the morning preparations through to the reception, so full-day coverage works best. For multi-day celebrations we tailor the hours to your events.
Yes. We understand that the auspicious muhurat sets the pace of the ceremony, and we plan our coverage around it so the pheras and saptapadi are always captured calmly and on time.
