Given a mandap, the pheras hand us a repeating circuit which must not read as a repeat: elevation, side of the canopy and focal length each shift on every pass. Given a ceremony conducted at carpet height, one long lens worked from a single unmoving position covers most of it. Given a quietly exchanged consent, everything rests on ground agreed weeks earlier. Three problems, three answers, none of them transferable.
