The Baraat
The dhol, the dancing and the groom's joyful arrival, photographed with all of its energy.
Hindu and Gujarati wedding photographer in Southend-on-Sea, capturing the agni, the pheras and the seven sacred vows of the saptapadi, with second photographers available for the largest celebrations.
Serving Southend-on-Sea
Southend-on-Sea is a seaside city with a diverse community. From the mandap to the reception, we keep the day flowing across venues throughout Westcliff, Leigh-on-Sea and Shoeburyness. We photograph at temples, mandaps and banqueting halls right across Essex.
We are a reassuring, familiar presence, so everyone relaxes and the day flows naturally. We follow your family's customs closely and photograph them exactly as you keep them. We take the time beforehand to understand your customs and the order of your events.
We have photographed Hindu weddings throughout Westcliff, Leigh-on-Sea and Shoeburyness for many years, and Southend-on-Sea is a familiar and welcome destination. We also cover nearby Colchester and Billericay.

What we offer
The dhol, the dancing and the groom's joyful arrival, photographed with all of its energy.
The seven steps around the holy fire and the giving of the sindoor and mangalsutra, captured with reverence.
From the Ganesh puja to the griha pravesh, every day of the celebration covered.
Every tradition
The exchange of garlands high above the guests is a moment of laughter and joy, and we are ready for it. For Gujarati families, we know the hastamelap and the four mangal pheras and photograph each as you keep it. We photograph the mangalsutra and sindoor, the signs of the new marriage, with tenderness.
The day often opens with a Ganesh puja for an auspicious start, and we are there for it. The mehndi is intimate and detailed, and we photograph both the henna and the laughter around it. The sangeet is an evening of music and dance, and we capture all of its energy.

The whole celebration
The celebration usually builds gradually, from the quiet of the puja to the exuberance of the sangeet. We tailor the hours to your events, whether it is one key day or a long weekend of celebrations.
The story ends with the griha pravesh that welcomes the bride into her new home. On the wedding day, the baraat, the mandap ceremony and the pheras build to the vidaai and the reception.
