As the varmala is exchanged, we catch the height, the laughter and the settling of the garlands, so the lightness of the moment is preserved alongside its meaning. When your hands are joined for the hastamelap, we frame the knot of the cloth, the rice and the joined palms so the meaning of the union is held in the picture. When the aashirwad begins and the elders come forward, we move gently between them, photographing each blessing and the rice falling as your married life is welcomed by the whole family.
