Family Moments
The milni, the blessings and the ashirwad, so the whole gathering is remembered.
Hindu wedding photography in Stockport, capturing the joy of the baraat and the devotion of the mandap alike, with sensitivity, experience and hand-finished albums.
Serving Stockport
Stockport is a Greater Manchester town with country venues. Across Cheadle, Bramhall and Marple and the rest of Greater Manchester, we cover the baraat, the ceremony and the reception with a careful eye. We cover the whole of the North of England, and Stockport and the towns around it are well known to us.
We work discreetly around the pandit and the families, never intruding on a sacred moment. We keep the calm of the mandap and the energy of the reception in equal measure. We capture the emotion of the day honestly, from the laughter of the sangeet to the tears of the vidaai.
Wherever your venues are across Stockport and Greater Manchester, we plan the route and the timings in advance. Stockport is a Greater Manchester town with country venues. We also photograph in nearby Wigan and Manchester.

Every tradition
We anticipate the muhurat, the auspicious hour that sets the pace of the ceremony. The jaimala, when the couple exchange garlands, is a moment of pure joy we love to photograph. At the heart of a Hindu wedding is the agni, the sacred fire that witnesses the marriage.
We capture the groom's arrival in procession, on a horse or in a car, surrounded by dancing family. From the turmeric of the haldi to the music of the sangeet, the events set the tone for the wedding. The vidaai, when the bride leaves her family home, is the most tender moment of the day.

The whole celebration
Some couples keep an elaborate sequence of events; others a simpler one, and we shape coverage to yours. The haldi and mehndi are intimate, colourful gatherings that set the tone for everything to come.
Whether the wedding and reception are on the same day or spread across a weekend, we plan for it. We photograph the ceremony, the portraits and the reception in balance, so each is given its due.
Why choose us
We have photographed Hindu weddings across the country for more than two decades. A thousand weddings in, we still find every celebration unique, and photograph it that way.
We will travel to your mandap, your reception and your pre-wedding events, wherever they are held. We are glad to discuss your venues and the journey between them when you enquire.

Where we travel
We are London-based and travel across Greater Manchester and the wider region for Hindu weddings. We cover the North of England and beyond, and are glad to travel further afield on request.

Good to know
Most Hindu weddings run from the morning preparations through to the reception, so full-day coverage works best. For multi-day celebrations we tailor the hours to your events.
Very much so. We know the mandap rituals by heart, from the jaimala and kanyadaan to the pheras and the saptapadi, and we position ourselves so the sindoor and mangalsutra are always captured.
Yes. For larger Hindu weddings we bring a second photographer so the mandap rituals and the guests are both fully covered, and the baraat and the bridal preparations can be photographed at once.
Yes. We travel to Stockport and across Greater Manchester for Hindu weddings. The mandap ceremony and its many events are a speciality and distance is never a problem.
Yes, and it is one of our favourite parts of the day. We capture the dhol, the dancing and the groom's arrival, and the milni as the two families meet, with all of its energy.
